Eun-Soo Lim

Great LP comeback for Eun Soo. I'm glad to see a very decent turnout for a local competition that isn't even Korean nationals (and doesn't feature Yuna). The crowd was fairly enthusiastic as well. I do think the future is bright despite the downturn after Yuna's retirement. :)

Her FS from a domestic competition. She looks like she grew taller. :reye:
She looks totally fabulous on the ice.
I've discussed Eunsoo on another fs forum comparing her to Yuna Kim and some posters said she is even leaner and more graceful than her idol. <Yuna fans don't kill me please:hopelessness::biggrin:>

She also looks tentative but...it is a domestic competition.
Her jumps and interpretation improved, she was amazing until the last jump. Do you know the placement and the score?

She won but it wasn't a very competitive competition. I think her score was about 116 (obviously < on that last 2A-3T), but her PCS was very low at 50.

Frankly, I'm worried for Eun Soo. She struggles a lot with finding the right distance in her jumps. I don't think I've ever seen her cleanly land her 3LZ-3T in the free because she's always so close to the fence.

I really, really hope that her team can fix this problem soon.

I also noticed she put two 2A-3T in her FS instead of the triple triple. I hope it was because she landed tight on her first 3Lz and not a permanent change. At her age, she should be working hard on making that combo consistent, not finding technical work arounds already.

Yeah, she won with 120.41 in the FS (68.5 + 51.9). 188.82 total competition score.

Wow, that's a good score. That means she scored 68 for the SP, right? Are there any protocols for this by any chance? Her PCS does seem a bit low though...

I love her and she has everything she needs to succeed. She just needs to make sure that she doesn't hit the boards when she does her combo. My heart always races when I see her doing her first jump because I'm afraid she's going to get injured...

I found some on Twitter! And oops, my bad, score is 182 not 188.

FS protocol: https://twitter.com/Sanhocho/status/811963204389638145
SP protocol I can't find, but her score was 62.47

IS she age eligible for the olympics?
No she isn't. That's a good thing imo, it's giving her and the other wonder girls (like You Young) time to develop her tech and artistry.
I really cannot wait for Nationals. How awesome it would be for Young and her to own the podium. ;)
