She doesn't, either one. And I don't think Yuzuru would ask her, which basically leaves us with her asking him. Overall, chances 0.1%![]()
Maybe an exhibition program for the Olympics? Something powerful like Overcome...you know, a girl can dream :luv17:

I'm sure she appreciated it.Ok idk about you guys but the fact that he gifted her a photo of himself makes me
it's sweet though don't get me wrongI'm sure she appreciated it.

It sounds like the photo was of him skating to her music, not just any old photo of him.

It really is completely different when you see them in person. I went to Worlds in Boston and Yuzu commands your attention as soon as he steps on the ice. He is a huge presence. Before Worlds I didn't understand the hype around Patrick, but when he skates it is magic. Same with Yuzu. Even my Mom, who is not a skating fan at all, saw that there was something special about both Yuzu and Patrick.

Oh yes I know, I'm aware of that. Plus he also wrote a letter for her so that's sweet. I mean just the thought of sending my own photo to another person is amusing to me
Ok guys, I hope I'm not offending anyone with this, but I think we should chill a bit about posting about Yuzu in other competition threads where he is not skating. If someone else brings him up or if the GOEs and PCS of other skaters seem unreasonable in comparison to what he gets, just let it be and let his own skating do the talking. It's getting too much even if I can agree with some of the points. The only thing it's doing is turning non-fans into haters, like what happened with Chan, due to the overload and that would just hurt Yuzu unfairly. There is just really no point in trying to maintain the absolute score rankings based on marks from different competitions with different judges. We all know the subjectivities in judging figure skating, for better or worse.
Yuzu is still recovering and has increased tech, and putting him out there on a pedestal so much will just cause unnecessary hate and complaining when he does compete imperfectly, which is more than likely going to happen this season. He has to focus on himself right now and we should focus on him staying healthy and improving at each event, not that he is getting lowballed early in the season when he's clearly not at his best and others are more seasoned. We should save the comparisons for the GPF when they're all together and just enjoy all the performances Yuzu has given us so far!![]()

I like figure skating. But now I'm really starting to hate it.![]()
To tell the truth since following fs in 2014, I'm seeing the side of fs that I've not seen before and as time goes by now I'm beginning to hate figure skating and GS :hopelessness:.
We got bashed for supporting Yuzu even though we are not putting other skaters down. I have stopped posting in the Edge, and I much prefer to stay only in this thread (made a mistake of going to COR thread today
)

Not to labour the point, as I know we like to keep this thread a happy discussion, as opposed to many other sections of the forum. I do get a little bit saddened when I notice people on GS/tumblr/twitter/etc being less than positive about Yuzuru and belittling his efforts. However, I get much more saddened when I see people saying that they used to like Yuzuru, but the amount of his fans bringing him in to discussions and comparing him with other skaters has made them like Yuzuru less.
Of course it doesn't affect Yuzuru, he'll likely never know. But I do think that it's worthwhile toning down the posts made in The Edge or the comp threads, especially if it's a competition Yuzuru wasn't in. It will give less credibility to the haters who shut down any reasonable comment with 'here come the yuzu ubers' if we quit fighting with them. Let them troll, let them have their opinions, and we'll continue to use our efforts to support Yuzuru on his path to total world domination...er...I mean Olympic Gold![]()
