How can you tell? I can only get one week in advance in the listings on the eurosport site, and my print TV guide only goes up to and inc next week Friday (pretty sure men's SP will be shown, IIRC only the first of the four events isn't aired live here in Holland, because people are still asleep then, but men's is the last of the day).

Men SP will be live, FS not. I have more shedule for polish eurosport ;)

He mixes amino vital powder in his water. It's amino acids that suppose to help with hydration, fatigue/stamina, etc. Almost everything that I've seen him eating and drinking before/during/after his time on the ice is amino vital. No one can say he's not diligent
And he apparently "loves" it  poor bb

see how much sacrifice you have to make for the sake of your art... drink awful stuff, for instance!
reminds me of how my mother used to tell me as a kid that if medicine doesn't taste bad, it also doesn't help. Let's hope the same silly rule applies to sports drinks :p

...I confess I love his a bit wild or rough way of talks betraying his gentle appearance
Haha followed the link and i have to agree with this. There is this interview where he was talking abotu Barcelona and how everyone was cheering for Javi and he was thinking "Ore dazo!" and he said with with such a tone that i burst out laughing
i want to hear him saying "ganpbappe!". I might have watched Ama-chan too many times haha.
Well that gives me an incentive to eat everything in my diet plan, there are a lot of fruits that i hate because i feel they taste/smell bad but i will eat them anyways! If Yuzu can drink that awful smelling/tasting liquid... I think i can manage to eat those fruits
Yuzuru Hanyu: Promoting healthy lifestyles

so I went to check eurosport shedule for nhk, and it will not show men free skate :confused2:

I believe they will, but two hours or so late.

ETA: I made a mistake, TVP Sport is showing it a bit delayed.

No live though, which sucks.

I already cleared my schedule so I can watch the NHK livestream on CBC. :) I can hardly wait... one more week.

Do we know yet if there are any ice shows going on in January that Yuzu might take part in? he did a few last year, so I was wondering about this year.

I'm guessing he will at least be at Medalists on Ice (I think that's the name)? Though I don't think he will stay in Japan as long as he did the past few seasons since he seems intended on competing at 4 Continents.

Can someone please translate this? Is this a new interview?

I'm not sure about what Brian's part said (google translate's fault ), but Javier's sounds something like Plushy saying Yuzu and him are making figure skating go forward after stagnating for some time. It kind of matches what he said in an interview a few weeks ago: Plushenko told him that their rivalry pushed the sport forward.
But if someone could clear it up it would be greatly appreciated

but i think cbc is not available outside of canada :(

You could use a proxy and set it to Canada. I used to do it until my country was no longer geo-blocked for the ISU stream. Some paid TV services stream NHK, perhaps yours does? Idk if they will broadcast the entire event but the men's event is basically a given.
If not, I'm sure people will find a non-geoblocked stream as the competition draws closer. Regularly checking the NHK threat will be useful in that case :)

I won't be able to watch NHK live as I'll be traveling on those dates. :sad4:
But I will be with you all and rooting/praying for our beloved Yuzuru!

That got a 1.29 GOE :scratch3: It was such a beautiful combo.

Make one wish that someone create a software that processes the jumps following some parameters (height, landing, flow ecc...) at least it would solve one of the scoring problems...not that they could mess with other stuff, though. :disapp:

Go for it! :agree:
Even though, judges would find a way to give even 11 out of 10 in PCS to their favourites...ah, the dark side of judged sport...I know I should stick to swimming...Sorry for the OT, btw, bad day!
