Not a lot said about Scimeca and Knierim. I know Alexa has had a debilitating illness that kept her off the ice for some time. I hope she is recovering well. I am a Castelli and Tran fan and also hope that they make their break-through at Nationals. Such potential!

That will not happen in the US. Tanith Belbin White had been living and training in the US since 1998, and she and Ben Agosto qualified for the 2002 Olympics but could not go because she was not a citizen. It took an act of congress to get her her US citizenship on Dec 31, 2005 so she and Ben could compete in the 2006 Olympics. There is zero chance that someone who does not even live in the US will get US citizenship in the next year. One has to be a permanent resident (green card holder) for 5 years to get citizenship in the US. Marisa and Mervin know this and stated the Olympics were not their goal when they formed their partnership.

yes they have! Brandon certainly grew so tall! Haha, he had chubby cheeks, lol
I had to look it up. They started ROLLER skating together in 2002! I first became interested in them when I saw them at 2014 Sk Am. They took the bronze and had a very cool Lion King FS if I remember right.

yes, the britishe commentators said they started out rollerblading together, LOl! Wow, they were junior world champions in 2013. Andn took Silver in 2015 Nationals. I didn't know that! LOL Tara Lipinski used to compete in rollerblading, and they competed TOGETHER in the sport. Wow..this sounds like a good omen to me.

Oh, thanks for looking that up. I had to watch it again. They were magical. And of course, that was before her injury. I remember Kavaguti and Smirnov were phenomenal and took gold. And it makes me sad to think that Yuko K. injured herself too. :sad4:

In 2011-12 season, they had their first junior grand prix assingment in austria, they came in 7th overall.

after their last junior year, their lifts and throws and programs got better and better. They still struggle with their side by side jumps though, hopefully they are working on it
