I am SO glad that his costume looks better in photos because the stream I was using was a bit blurry and it looked... not bad but a bit odd. The blue tint to the purple made the vest look almost green-tinged in my stream.

So happy that he enjoyed himself and that his combination jump was cleanly done this time. The 4Lo was also improved (step outs are better than falls!), and my god that 3A. It's like it was dropped from heaven. You're darn right that was a +3 worthy 3A!

The American was slightly better, #5, he "only" fudged transitions and composition.

Like Brian said, everything was pretty much perfect.. apart from the loop. He was really enjoying himself out there and he did say he wanted a fun program... this is it. Everything was so much better than at SC. So glad he delivered what he wanted.. and hearing him say " I want more" and Brian's tone when he said "yes, I know you do"...LOL. So funny!!

Nice interview
About the costume change. He says this music has the live like atmosphere and tried to get a performance that would excite audience watching it. Further, he had some bad image about the previous costume and it was one of the reasons he changed the costume. When he pulled off the jacket, the audience at the venue got ecstatic, which made me happy. Brian also was delighted at that.

The costume definitely looks better on rewatch. The pants could perhaps be a brighter purple but you can't deny his dedication to his costumes. Even the boot covers have the exact same shade as his pants.

And that 4S-3T!! The height of the 4S was so good!

One good thing about the rule change, he places in the top quarter in SP so he skates in the last quarter of FS.
