Loving and laughing at how these junior Russian girls are thinking he is so cute! I think Evgenia will get her wish to pair skate with Yuzuru at gala tomorrow since they are both champs!

LOL. That's the first time I've heard anyone mistaking farting vs. fighting... boy has to get rid of some of those rrrrrrrs

Poor Yuzu. All those girls after him and since they're world class skaters he can't exactly run from them without looking rude, lol.

ok please don't hit me. Not in the face.
you know that I love him to death and think it's so admirable how much his English has improved..... but I didn't need to know that he was farting every jump. Is that like a special air pressure booster to get the rotations done quicker or....

DEAD

lmaooo :laugh2: He worked so hard to get those R's down and now hes putting it everywhere.

Just rewatched it with CBC commentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_9lEId2xW4

It was really not a disaster by any means... I like the he added many choreographic moves like those in the Ina Bauer...

And for the 4S-3T, maybe it's not a good idea to have a break before that? Like Kurt said, you need to build up speed from the stop and I think that is hard to do if he's getting tired and will miss the rhythm of the music if he doesn't get enough speed in that time span.

Seriosuly, can anyone make a post with all skaters who took a photo with Yuzuru at GPF? It is neverending.

I cannot stop laughing because all I'm think about now is the Russians are coming ... for Yuzuru :laugh2: Seriously though, so sweet of her and they look lovely!

I think they love him for a reason. Like, not only for his looks and immense talent. Yuzu's known to be quite a sweet boy here, esp girls and children appreciate it. When he trained his choreography in Russia for the 2011-2012 season one woman wrote on the blog about him. Like, how precious he is, how smiley, how all the little girls were in love with him, how he shared his chocolate with everyone. And he's generally comfortable around ladies and treats them as equals, which is very nice. So our ladies are comfortable with him as well. He gets along with everyone and it draws people to him, imo.

That's so sweet. He has a very pure and innocent-quality about him that is just so charming and his actions are all so genuine and uninhibited. He is so comfortable with himself and his values and I admire him so much for that.

It might have come from his upbringing or it may be inborn qualities, but I'm glad he keeps it. Zhenya is very lucky to have him as a skating buddy.

Just watched his FS and omg he paid so much attention to the small choreographic touches it was beautiful  So I'm not too worried about the jump mistakes seems to be stamina issues to me still, there's time yet. The 4Lo take off was better this time, as Kurt said I think, but compared to those from the practices, I think that's where hes been making the mistake, though obvs I have no experience with Quad Loops.

There no guarantee this will translate to good skates at 4cc and worlds, but it does mean they are testing how he trains in terms of peaking. which is good for next season but doesn't necessarily mean it will work out this season... and of course we dont know how much this is peaking stuff and how much is due to time off at the time of the prior injury.

Yup, he waaay exceeded expectations this entire first half of the season. Good job to him and his team!
Yes, before this season started, I had preapred for myself that Yuzuru would lose GPF... but in the end he won. So this is much better than I expect.
