LOL @ Meanwhile in Canada.... Yes, southern Ontario had freezing rain the other day and our roads were covered. I always love it when that happens (as long as I don't have to drive...it can be worse than a heavy snow) because skating down the sidewalks, even in my boots, is always fun.... until you hit a patch with no ice and you basically trip on the sidewalk!! It's winter, you have to love it because there's no escaping it!

Nobunari Oda, Satoko Miyahara, Shoma Uno and Keiji Tanaka will reprise the famous "Love Dance" from the Japanese drama "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu" at Stars On Ice in January. The choreography will be adjusted by Jeffrey Buttle as they'll turn it into an ice show program. It was Oda's proposal after the video he uploaded on Twitter went viral.

I just remembered myself skating on icy roads in winter in Russia.
And I had a picture in my mind of Yuzu getting to the ice rink on his skates... along with his security guys! I know this Ontario, not Toronto... but god, was that picture vivid. Him trying quads on the streets!
 
Maybe they'll all be much better at it this time, lol! And... what the heck is Jeff going to do with it, LOL???

Maybe add some originality :laugh: the dance is static and the program will have to include some skating.

Sorry for people involved in accidents, but this makes me slightly... nostalgic!

great, thanks a lot, now I have a picture of Yuzu dashing off while the security guys desperately try to keep up and then end up doing the penguin slide most of the time. Thank you very friggin' much for that! :rofl2:

Some people may have been able to skate to some places, but in a big city like Toronto it would not last long. They would have the salters out for fear of both pedestrian and traffic accidents... but on some side streets in residential areas, maybe...

Sorry!!! Ok, no salt in Toronto, roads and sidewalks are totally covered in ice and everyone skates along humming along to the Skaters Waltz.... with certain individuals twirling between them, jumping loops over the side walk cracks....
