"Prince Hanyu" once again appears on the cover of a page spread in the Korean newspaper, love that they used a chopin picture this time :luv17: This one is also promoting PC, talking about all the major players.

Hello, do you mind telling me how to register on Weibo? I tried but it did not work. They have so many beautiful photos aww...

Register via mobile phone & email

I come across this on google, it's made by some KPOP fans so you can ignore the part that asks you follow that KPOP star. But the guide has covered all the steps in details.

If you feel uncomfortable to verify with your number, you may try verifying with temporary numbers on this site. (But with temporary numbers, you cannot recover your account when Weibo thinks your account is "abnormal"/you lose your password.)

Feel free to ask me if you encounter any problems/don't understand!

I won't forget Sochi but I always think of how proud I am of her that she again had the mental and physical power to skate two clean programs at the Olympic level. Before the Olympics my wish was that she skates clean, and the rest will come with it. My dream came true and she won a medal. And she really handled the whole situation very classily.

As for Yuzuru I can't imagine that he skates good, deserves the gold but wouldn't get it. If he skates good no one can beat him. And PyeongChang is not like Sochi because there won't be a real threat from the home country.

I think that's what it is for me. I really, really want to see him skate clean - because when he does it's so glorious to watch and feel.
Same for this season too, looking forward to seeing Hope & Legacy at its best.

An iphone wallpaper made by user bear可萌
(She said she cannot bear it when Yuzuru looks right into her eyes! :luv17:)

Since i fell in love with Yuzuru Hanyu-not-the-skater when i saw him wearing that kimono, it's only fitting that i use it as my phone wallpaper too .
Although i agree... I'm glad the office is really empty right now because i literally swooned when i opened that. Him staring directly at me is too much but i'll sacrifice myself :P

Me too, I can't really wait for Hope & Legacy at its best, I'm already in love with that program. It's so delicate, elegant, emotional and mature, and Yuzuru has found a new level of connection with the audience (it can be said about LGC too, but in a different way). :luv17:

I was watching the competition with my parents. When Yuzuru came on the ice:

My dad: is this a boy or a girl :scratch2:
My mom: he is cute

After his performance: my mom and i  #FangirlModus

Lol yes. "Prince Hanyu" and "Genius of Figure (skating)" :p

ETA: Of course its promotion, so they'll play it up as to attract people to the venue.

Most people don't.... :( Thanks for posting.

Right? I maybe read 3, 4 comments too many about how "oh this might be the year where he gets taken over, blah blah" and that was enough to send me reeling into a two day slump. Thank goodness it's the holidays and I can just stay home. I can't imagine Yuzu's mental strength, and just how many negative thoughts he has to squash on a daily basis, to deliver so much.

Just read in Satoko's thread that for her in Nationals, the number one priority was to win.
Yamato: ...Miyahara Satoko’s objective was to win. “Aim to win.” Being focused on the placement was something on our minds in the rigorous preparation. In any other case, that may not have been something to consider… In the case where winning was nearly a given, that added pressure she placed on herself was something she was able to overcome and win. In a skating sense, we are not “satisfied,” “convinced,” nor “moved” by the performances here. It’s not just in figure skating. It’s nearly impossible for all athletes to be “satisfied” and “convinced” and to move an audience and win in all competitions. Of course, that would be ideal, but reality is not that simple. For two-time national champion Miyahara, winning was her number one priority at this competition. To achieve that, she put in a huge amount of time into her preparation. And so, from a goal-achievement perspective, I am “satisfied.” In defending her title, she completed the three-peat, where there true value. She has competed at the World Championships twice now, and with the win here, she can now prepare for her third appearance to compete with the world’s best.

Makes me wonder about Yuzu. If I could look into his head just once, haha. Must be a strange place.

I am already thinking about the olympics and probably you guys have already mentioned this (i-ve said before that i stopped reading at about page 1500) but, do you think Yuzu will be the flag bearer for Pyeongchang? If he is aaah:luv17: he is going to look so cute and happy, carrying his beloved Hinomaru...

I am pretty sure he is the no.1. contender for being the flag bearer in PyeongChang. He is the sole Olympic gold medalist of Japan at the 2014 Winter Games and is the most popular winter sport star of Japan.

I just looked up flag-bearers on Wikipedia though, and I don't think it's totally based on competition results and popularity. If it were, Mao would have been flag bearer for 2014 and she wasn't.

Yeah. based on this, it is not based on results and popularity at all. Actually it looks like they assigned it randomly? It is not based on age/seniority as well. Saori Yoshida (3x OGM in wrestling) was a flag bearer though, so someone with good result could have been chosen too.
