Thanks for the information! It means he is healthy once again. And even though Brian will be away for Canadian Nats and Euros, he will have quite a good amount of training time with the other coaches at the club, perhaps even Shae Lynn and Jeff? Nice to know he is working with Tracy!

Yay!! Our baby is healthy again 💖 so glad he's again in the same landmass as i am 😂 and training after those weeks of resting. He must be very motivated :)

It seems like Brian's first impression of the 2018 arena is very positive, judging from his instagram during SK Nationals. It is barely a year away, so everyone is eager to check it out. We know yuzuru will be paying close attention to the acoustics!!

What did he say?

Nothing really technical, AFAIK. Just that it gives him a good feeling.

Maybe Yuna gave some input.

You need to put back support for the seats.

Make sure the ice temperature controller works because we do not want puddles that Patrick Chan will complain about.

And are these medals made of plastic? Change them to something heavier. I do not want to see Yuzu and Shoma jiggling their medals like flapping chicken wings.

There's going to be an interview with Yuzu (prerecorded probably) on the 8th talking about getting sick and how he is now. Late night, Fuji TV
EDIT: Broadcast schedule has since been changed. I don't know when/if this interview will air. :(

Based on the practice session videos that I saw from Korean Nats the venue does look good. The ice condition looks good too. Hopefully it will stay that way for 4CC :agree:
About the medal, they already have the design and sample I think. From what I see the medals look small (?)

Saw the videos and reports and yes, so far so good. :) Hopefully it stays that way.
Well as long as the medals aren't made of cheap plastic, small or not it's not gonna be important. if you look at last year podium, the medals were small. It's probably gonna be the same design this year.

Yes it does look good isn't it? I think I still have trauma from TEB and GPF that when I found out Korean Nats is in gangneung I immediately check the ice condition lol.
Oh about the medals I was referring to PC olympic medals. I saw the design and sample somewhere (it was pics from press conference, yuna kim was there too as ambassador i think?) and I don't know, the medals look small to me, but maybe that is not actual size.

Ah ok! I remember I watch videos about it. We saw the design, but what was presented were tokens, souvenir copies with it. The real medals are bigger. Not sure if the medals will be as big as Sochi's for example but it's definitely "Olympic" size. ;)

Oh lol thank God  I was bummed when I first saw it because I need olympic medals to be humongous, just because

ARG! Yuzu's name has been taken out of the 8th Fuji broadcast schedule. So we may need to wait more before they air it or something. :(

I knew something happened when the thread suddenly jumped

Brian said Javi and Yuzu are in Toronto.

Thank you (both!) so much for the news, very happy and pleasantly surprised he's back but I'm guessing he lost some conditioning due to flu and wanted back as soon as possible. Good to hear he's well now again too :agree2:

Happy to hear ice is good too. Fingers crossed it stays that way too but I do think it will.

Glad they are both in T.O now training. I had a feeling yuzu might go back right away. This year seems very different. He has been staying out of the public eye a lot. Last year he was performing in shows, was on tv a lot in summer and over the holidays and stayed in Japan a lot. This year it is almost the exact opposite. The reasons are obvious, but it is still interesting to note.

Well, even though he might not be in the schedule anymore, still that means we will get news soon  We're definitely spoiled haha.
Also, i am really really happy that he's back♥ Like, irrationally happy haha. Things are back to normal it seems!
