I cope by... reading the threads period by period... "WC 2012" "SC 2015" XD accompanied by a heaping stack of Yuzu videos from the same time period on the side... I think I'm halfway through? XD

weekends for a couple months? I caught up with a lot during winter break. I was mostly anxious to find all the fancams/media asap because a lot of them are taken down after a while -w- a lot of the 2014's were gone by the time I got to them. Gotta get to them quickkk. Ganbatte!

If you all want links first there's this extra thread that was created when it started to become hard to follow this one so he became the first skater here to have two threads. The posters on this are absolutely life saviours. There was some time at my vacation that I wanted to post there to easy other people's work but I didn't know if I would interupt the page count and annoy anyone so I didn't. Shout out to Pamigena.
The first post though, "The previous topic of Hanyu is the most active topic with more than 300 pages (...)" LMFAO, what a time.

I often watch old skating videos too and stumbled across this gem by Brian, I had no idea he did this, and now I want Yuzuru to skate an SP to Somewhere in Time (yes, I know it's been done by others like Yuna, don't care). It'd be kind of neat too, considering. :agree2:

of course you can always post whatever you want there. I just started doing these summary posts during (the TOI-boy show) Together On Ice when the thread got flooded with links and nobody could find anything anymore. And then this kind of continued. But everyone's welcome to join in if they want. If anyone wants to help doing these summary posts, I think it would just help to coordinate a bit, because it would be a waste of time and effort if several people work on the same posts at the same time. Some kind of "page schedule" always seemed useful when more than one person does these summaries. But if anybody wants to chip in, just PM me and we can figure something out 
I'm definitely going to ask for some volunteers during Worlds
It's hard enough to keep up with this thread when you're at home (during the GPF we added like 70 pages to this thread) so there's no way I can do this while I'm in Helsinki.

If you want to see some beautiful single axels by Brian, watch the 1984 olympic free program, or world's. Great height and distance with arm over the head. I am convinced that is where David got the idea for yuzu. Yes, it is done by others, but Brian often did it.
Here is a question since it is still quiet with news: What new moves would people like to see Yuzu learn to put in a new program for the future? This year we have single axel, new camel into sit final spin in Hope/Legacy.... what about flying sit spin, split jumps etc...? Any move from the past anyone thinks he would do well?

Moves I think he can do well or moves I would love to see him do well?
- a spiral sequence for ChSq as a change of hydroblade/ina bauer combo, at least arabesque and a fan spiral. I think he will do pretty well, not sure about how much he can extend though. Or do it just for ex lol. But I am guessing he is not so fond of doing spiral or not so stellar at it? Otherwise we would have seen it from him?
- twizzle-3A-twizzle would be cool and uniquely him
- any other crazy transition he can think of. Love the lunge-illusion entry into the sit spin this year. What's next Yuzuru?

I was thinking more along the lines of skills, rather than transitions. Shoma brought back the cantilever, Yuzu brought back the open single axel... I think I would love a flying change sit spin... few men do them, or at least not well enough for me to notice...they usually do death drops.
