So... we have been running out of fuel to keep this thread's usual speed... Let's discuss crazy things like
If you had to make an I've cream flavor based on Yuzuru, what would it be like? I'm not sure on the flavor but it would definitely need edible glitter

Based on costumes alone it would be rainbow sherbet.
2014-15 season would be rocky road (chocolate with nuts and marshmallows).
I just read that in Finland salty licorice ice cream "salmiakki" is popular. Usually foreigners don't like it, but maybe I will try some at Worlds.

It is true that we tend to talk a lot about Yuzu's future plans since we have no idea what he will do after 2018, a year that is coming close... but I also simply wish to enjoy the moment given with Yuzu and hope to see him winning many competitions to come (esp. 4CC, Worlds and Olympics). Yuzu still has a lot to give to this sport.
As for the costumes, well each new one bring the dozen of pages of talk, it never fails to be entertaining.
Yuzuru is not a normal skater, you know, i mean he has his own league and lives his own planet, he might win two more gold medal. Yuzuru looks great and different in each costume that create a beautiful drama.
Salmiakki-everything is popular there. Ice cream, liquor, candy, chocolate, you name it. See that dust cloud over there? That's me, running in the opposite direction of that stuff. But if you want to try it, you certainly won't have a hard time finding some anywhere in Helsinki

[Parisienne Walkways = Pari no Sanpomichi (パリの散歩道) in Japanese. So, he was making a pun with the word Walkways (散歩道) and walk/stroll (散歩) to indirectly refer to his singled Lutz in the SP

Oh well, since I speak Japanese, I should give a proper answer. Firstly, I'm really disappointed for having missed the Lutz in the short and botched the quad sal in the free. Well, I did nothing but botched (a lot of things) this time. The result's turned out pretty disappointing, but I won't let it end like this, so I'd like to work hard to be able to stand in the same place as the person next to me is standing (1st place finish) at the Worlds Champs. And of course, we, Japanese men won't let this end on such a low note. Me and my seniors will band together, acknowledge this outcome and go the extra mile (for the next competition).
Crowd: (Cheers) Do your best! Admirable! Boss! Boy, you're really cool!
Yuzu: (Completely embarrassed, but there's no corner to hide in, so his knee-jerk reaction is to hide his face behind that scanty pint-sized box he's been holding

I must have spent 2 hours on-off pondering... Yuzu reminds me of... that Wonka flavor-changing gum + glitter (a must). Always something new, apart from glitter... and Pooh.

Since Worlds is going to be held in Finland (and I'll be heading to Finland soon), I would love to hear anyone that is familiar with this winter wonderland to recommend me some food/stuff to try and buy

Fresh salmon cooked at a stall, on the Helsinki waterfront. Anyone who thinks "salmon is salmon" and it's the same everywhere... may be in for a very pleasant surprise. The first time I tried it, I was shocked at how different it was, and how good it tasted...Since Worlds is going to be held in Finland (and I'll be heading to Finland soon
Moomin stuff! There is one shop in particular in Helsinki that sells a vast array of Moomin goodies...

Ah two excellent ideas, thanks! I love salmon and Moomin too (my sis is a fanatics so a Moomin birthday present will be the best choice). I don't know how I'll survive this trip financially, though
Helsinki is said to be really expensive. Plus, I would like to buy a little souvenir at the competition if there is something affordable, because I very rarely have the chance to go to such a big event.

As for the salmiakki, said fan sent me a box of salmiakki licorice, and it was heaven. That said, I am Dutch: licorice candies, including salmiak, are ridiculously poular in Holland. I didn't know it's the same in the Scandinavian countries (even wikipedia says so), so it's my mission in life to buy a lot of not-Dutch-but-Finnish licorice in March, especially salmiak flavored. :agree:

Well, Yuzuru could retire after 2020 and then become an ice dancer
He could compete at the olympics 2022 and 2026 again
