I feel like Mariah doesn't get credit for her speed. Too bad about the fall - good for her to learn how to handle her nerves now for next year.

She really seems grounded and you could tell by her reaction to her scores that she was fine with the numbers and will be ready for the long.

and I remember when everybody was calling Johnny and Tara a breath of fresh air like it was yesterday. Time goes fast doesn't it

I think it's the TV people's fault. I remember Johnny and Tara talking less when they were the B team, but started talking a lot more when they were promoted to the A team. And Terry would prompt them more when they first started. Johnny said in an interview how hard it was to balance silence with keeping the layman audience informed and engaged. I think the producers told them they were too quiet
