2017 U.S. Nationals Championship Ladies SP

Tara is doing some witchcraft on these skaters. Stop talking Tara cause your jinxing everybody, lol...

Fall on combo, but everything else should be good enough to keep her in Worlds team contention for the LP.

I really wanna see Jenny Kirk's Chicago short now. :luv17:

I keep forgetting that Karen Chen is only 17 - plenty of time to settle down. Too bad about Amber Glenn.

Karen must have put a curse on all the ladies who follow her so she can keep the lead with a big margin

Shame about the fall on the 3Lz/3T, but Mariah recovered immediately and I really enjoyed her performance. Chicago is a bit overused but she did it with flair.

I love Raf. Right into the technical nitty gritty and she hasn't even gotten her skate guards on yet.

What a pity about the fall! But seriously, this program is perfect for her and she is perfect in it. I could watch it ALL day. Her joy and exuberance is TOO cute.

I wonder if Courtney will ever manage to win a national medal that isn't pewter. And even that only happpened once.

:slink:

It is good she did not the performance go after the the initial fall. Unfortunate opening jump, UR fall.

Mariah Bell: Fall on the 3Lz+3T (3T looks <). Strong layback spin, and strong 3F and 2A. Well-choreographed final spin to the peaks of "All That Jazz". Rightfully cheeky and pizzazzy performance. So rare to see spirit in skating nowadays...
