2017 U.S. Nationals Championship Ladies SP

I think Ashley is in a good spot. Good score, well positioned for the podium. I think it's fair. And the 3F-3T looked clean to me. The wonky axel was unusual for her. I don't dislike this program but the problem is I loved last years.

I seen a lot of nationals and the pressure often takes it toll on the double axel for some reason. Curious to see if Ashley got levels on her spins.

Very nice from Bradie, minus that 2F. She's really matured over the last year; I noticed the same thing with Karen earlier.

Damn on the flip :palmf:

And I totally disagree with Tara. Bradie isn't artistically mature but artistry doesn't get as mechanical and forced as Ashley's current SP :disagree: I prefer Bradie's SP in a landslide

Yeah, Karen honestly wouldn't be placed ahead of Ashley internationally with these same skates.

Why not? Harder combination (better quality, too), better spins, better speed & harder transitions across the ice. I think Ashley has more exciting choreography and merits a better PE score than Karen, but I'd give other components to Karen.

This music is decidedly NOT Frank Sinatra (Four Seasons?)...where'd the IN people get that from?
