2017 U.S. Nationals Championship Men SP

Vincent Zhou:

Crossing my fingers! Beautiful 4S! Light touchdown with his foot on the 3A. Slow but nice rippon 3Lz+3T. Not as well-timed as I've seen him do in past skates, but great expression and lightness of touch throughout the program. I believe this was choreographed by Jeffrey Buttle; regardless, it suits his skating and brings out his emotional commitment. This might score in the 90s.

Choreo is by Drew Meekins...not Buttle😉

Vincent is no threat to Brown because he is too young for Senior Worlds. Is this correct?

Vincent is 16. He's age eligible for Senior Worlds.

I believe he's old enough. But the new rules make this irrelevant.

I imagine USFS has spots reserved at an international to get him or anyone else Senior minimum TES if they need it.

Totally agree could not have said it better.

I just don't understand why so many skaters want to use that Sam Smith song. It's not that great of a song.

Okay so this is the first time I am seeing Emmanuel Savary. I just have to say that it is VERY refreshing to come across an African American male figure skater.
