I agree with these results. Happy for Karen, well fought ashley, and nice job mariah. Sad for mirai... so close again. Gracie finishing so low can either devastate her, or really be the kick she needs. Pretty good competition!

This would have been way more interesting if the tech panel had judged Karen's 3-3 properly. Ashley's deserved the UR call too, but the lack of a call on Karen's was glaring. You can't send a message to one skater and ignore the other.

USFSA might as well should just name the Ladies team tonight. Top 3. And maybe send Mirai to 4CC since Ashley will probably skip. Gracie...needs to switch coaches, fix her technique to what it was before Frank tinkered with her jumps so much to where she's UR'ing now, and come back next season not depressed about Worlds.

Ashley should have won Her PCS was far too low, she's gotten much higher INTERNATIONALLY for messier programs...

Also, wasn't there a rule change so they can choose anyone from the top 5?

I don't feel like they can logically do better than this team anyway. I mean I guess if lightning strikes twice and Gracie does well but otherwise all we've got is Ashley and a bunch of question marks.

I was rooting for Mirai to bring it. But there is no reason for USFS to consider anything else but Karen, Ashley, and Mariah for worlds.
