Joshua Farris

So I guess, if folks want to, we should definitely do #GiveJoshLove again this year!

This is BY FAR the best skating news I've heard this year. It will make me even happier if Nathan & Jason get that third spot back (also for Max as well, BTW).

I was literally just about to come post this, after hearing the news! Do you guys want to organize for this Feb. 14?

I absolutely think we should. And this year it will be a celebration of this wonderful, joyful, best ever news!

I know he said he is back skating for the love of the sport and not for results, but as a fan I can't help but harbor the hope he medals in his competitions. He is that good I think. In any case, his return is welcome news. Go Josh!

I think there is little doubt that he can medal when he returns. Especially if the quad returns to his arsenal.

Oh, I am so happy today. I love you all! :ghug:

Congrats Josh on your comeback, because the decision alone is reason enough to congratulate him!
I also hope he can snatch some medals next season, but if he enjoys his performances and is satisfied with what he is doing then it's more than enough

Realistically, I don't think he (and I don't think Christy/Damon would encourage it) would be doing this if he wasn't able to at least get his 3A and spins/footwork back and be at least that competitive. That his 3A is back already is excellent.

As I said above, that his 3A is back now is promising - I'm not sure how much more is needed before he can try a 4T (or should he try 4S?).

I will also admit that I am seriously wondering about these improved edges...........

I'm glad that Joshua is back:agree:

But I also hope that he is more present on the social media than he has been in the past.

Did you see that Josh tweeted today with the lyrics to "Feeling Good"?

Does Jackie Wong know about this?

So...hands up if you're going to be raking over the summer comp entry lists with a fine-toothed comb...

*raises both hands*

So what are we thinking? Broadmoor Open? The jump competition? Glacier Falls? Or small ones again like Vail? He'll probably want to go some earlier ones to prove to USFS that he deserves a Senior B or two...then Bs. Salt Lake City? Nebelhorn? Nebelhorn might be good because this year all the pressure will be on the little country skaters trying to qualify.

Do you think he'll keep Give Me Love? Or a new SP since it's been so long? Pines of Rome or something new? What will the costume look like?

I CAN'T HELP IT I'M TOO EXCITED.
