Dabin had a technically strong FS today and I'm very proud of her. :agree: Too bad about the low PCS, but had she skated better in SP segment, maybe it would have been higher.... I hope.
Anyway, good job Dabin! She seems to be one of those skaters who utilize every ounce of given talents and beyond, and I admire those kind of people.
 
I will use Yuna's quote to encourage every Korean skaters who has been treated unfairly, lowballed by this frustrating system over and over again. not only Korean skaters, actually all skaters for that matter.

For all of us, Yuna is always remember as the skater before everything else.

This should give those hardworking skaters some encouragement and enlightenment. No matter what, you hard work won't be for nothing. You will be remembered as a skater!

Dabin had a clean runthrough and looks very strong technically for Skate Canada. But I don't know if it's just me, but I really really hate her FS music and choreo - it's like painfully slow elevator/carnival music and it stresses her lack of speed and her other flaws instead of her strong tech :palmf:
Her SP is so great, I don't know why they couldn't have a similarly strong program to showcase her strengths.

I feel like they should've continued with the dramatic character-driven programs for Dabin. Expressions aren't her forte but her Les Mis helped masked that.
 
Congrats BB Da Bin! Third highest TES of the night! :yay: (I am going to ignore the fact she had lowest PCS, she knows it's her biggest problem and she worked hard to improve on that area)
 
Congratulations Da Bin on achieving her season's best and a clean free skate! I like how she smiley she got during the program. She's clearly trying to improve her expression. Hope she skates clean consistently this season! With more improvements in the PCS department, the judges will not be able to deny her. :drama:

Does anyone know why she was accompanied by Christa Fassi in the Kiss and Cry?

Thank you!! I'm glad to see that she changed her SP because the previous one wasn't working well for her. But to be honest, I'm not so sure about this new one either. Maybe since it's just practice, she might've not performed it as much as she would in the competition, so we'll see for sure tomorrow if this is a better program or not.

By the way, go Dabin!!:clapper:
 
Wow, Dabin :confused: I like it, it's cute :love: I'm still torn with her and Nahyun and Worlds btw so seeing her makes me kinda sad :c She looked solid in both RTs so I hope for another great 4CC like last year from Korean ladies, especially from Dabin.

Looks like she did but during this season, she was keep changing it. Congratulations to Dabin for three new PBs and Top 5 finish @ 4CC :luv17: She was obviously invited to skate at Gala, can't wait to see her Ex :love:
