Can I already make requests for next year's programs? :sarcasm: be not a warhorse and be something that survives more than 10 flippin' seconds on youtube. Tall order, I knowNot sure the hugely tall and thin look suits him... ;-)

I think I'm not the only one who had a little something in her morning drinkhttps://twitter.com/GeumNa/status/832571115977449475

He's an intense competitor and I think he needs that intensity to compete well (like at NHK and GPF last year) to overcome the nerves, rather than trying to remove the nerves by relaxing.
I'm not too surprised about the pop actually. Personally, I was expecting more of a disaster, so this was actually not too bad, jump-wise at least. I was so surprised he managed to get the 4Lo out so nicely. Edge jumps are so difficult to rotate when tensed compared to toe jumps and I think he was trying way too hard to be relaxed that it just backfires. Like, you can see that he's consciously trying so hard to not be nervous that he just ends up even more nervous than before. I was thinking before the competition that the fact that so many fans came specifically to see him adds to the pressure to be perfect as well. And you know that pressure to be perfect is always there, from himself, from everyone else. It's a double-edged sword. I don't think trying to relax before competing is the best strategy for him. He's an intense competitor and I think he needs that intensity to compete well (like at NHK and GPF last year) to overcome the nerves, rather than trying to remove the nerves by relaxing. I really hope that he can get into the right mindset for the FS, since physically he's quite prepared this time!
Anyway, is his lisfranc completely okay now? In case his 4S3T is not working out again, maybe 4T3T can be considered. It is just 0.2 points difference anyway. And to get off with a fresh jump might be better mentally than trying to deal with the same jump he keeps bombing over and over. But then again, his instep...

Forget that. He should do the 4Lo-3T. YOLO!
I'm back to good mood, the wine is working.

Can I have some? I think I need some (a lot of) alcohol![]()

I was just talking to a friend about this. It's a legitimate possibility, I've got to say.
But it is nice seeing him happy and relaxed, so I'm conflicted.
