Everybody is so glommy in this threadHere is something to be positive about written by Rozalia Kierc:
Bright side of today's SP:
- the only skater today who didn't receive a single negative GOE from any of the judges
- the only skater who didn't receive a mark below 9 in all components
- the only skater to receive a maximum GOE for a triple axel (3.0) this season (he did it at NHK too) and the only one to receive a perfect GOE for a jumping pass today
:agree: Thanks for highlighting the positives in his SP.
For me, he doesn't have to be perfect to be great. And he may not be a nerveless competitor, but he is a the best kind because he is a fighter even with mistakes as we saw in the SP. I hope to see that fight again on Sunday. Go Yuzuru!

End of the day, he's still very competitive by nature. It's inconclusive and too early to say at this point, but it may be that a relaxed approach ultimately isn't the best fit for him if he's only relaxed until warm-up time. We simply don't know yet / probably won't ever know for sure.
