If he does fall or pop it what would be a good back-up layout? 3A-Lo-4S? Is there a possibility that he might be crazy enough to do it? :laugh2:

All the not joking aside, he can't actually afford the pop into a double. When I calculated what happened the other day, it's buried somewhere in the previous pages, all his brilliant skill managed to recuperate about 4 points and some minor change.
So he either needs to start popping into a triple instead of a double, if he absolutely has to or preferably not pop at all. In general that combination is such a bother.

And much like it's anyone's guess what he'd do for emergency now, that also goes for what he may do if he does decide to change plans. Vodka all around indeed.

I don't have Wodka here, only Gin & Rum. Sorry.

I am so not picky plus I love Gin & Rum

Lol I think both Yatagarasu and I have exhausted ourselves talking (or lamenting) about 4S3T

Anyway, what do you mean if there is a possibility lol. He himself said he was PLANNING to do that after he popped that 4S into a 2S to do a 2Slo4S at 4CC, but he feels stiff and tired thus decided against it. So I would say if he feels good and confident enough it is a possibility. But man, Yuzu, I hope he will just do what his planned layout was and not do some makeshift layout because his 4S3T betrays him again. :drama:

I am 100% sure the 4S3T is mental by now. He can land it fine in practice, usually he even had trouble landing it in runthrough but now not so much anymore. But because it is mental, it is harder to overcome, no? It is like his 3Lz3T. We know he can land it well in PW but had trouble for it all season long in Chopin.

Also, since 4T combo does not seem to bother him now (his lisfranc and all), I am hoping he will change it back to 4T just for worlds, the difference is only 0.2 points anyway.

he did two quad toes at 4cc, so I would highly recommend to do 4t3t instead of 4s , but.... he will go for 4s3t, and if he lands it he will do 4T instead of one axels. Mark my words ;)

Why I think so ? because he wanted to land 4 quads and he did, now his target will be to land 5, and he is in shape to do that

Starting from AC to SC to NHK to GPF to 4CC. I think it is talked about after every single competition lol. (Also if you want to count 2016 worlds too)

I'd sure count Worlds 2016 in.
I doubt he's going to give the combination up now for some reason... only if there's hope to change it for something more difficult - just as he did with his 3Lz3T in Chopin.

There is so much truth in that one sentence  :ghug:

And in everything else too. That option is the most sensible one but then he might be looking to raise his BV due to a potential 6th which suddenly opens up the field of options again and then I get even more tired. We have four more weeks of this. :hopelessness: Who is going to ply Max with drinks we have here to see if he can spill anything new he might have heard?

I'd sure count Worlds 2016 in.

4Lo-3T?

4Lo-3T?

Honestly, I don't know why from his demeanor in 4CC it does look like he doesn't have any plan in changing his layout. Him reverting back to 4T is just more on the wishful thinking on my side :slink:

Anyway, 4Lo3T, my hips are already hurting just seeing that typed out on screen, I don't even want to imagine that it will be happening in a program, or even worse, in the second half.

I will mark it, just to remind you later how wrong you were :p

There will never be just one 3A. Never. If he wants 5 quads so badly, he'll bring 4Lz before he drops a 3A to repeat 2 other quads.

*hands out Gin*

^^I agree.

The only way one 3A disappears? When he adds the 4A.

Yes, please, gin and thank you :palmf:

True but I don't know. I think 4CC is one of "those events" in terms of Yuzuru. I'm leaving everything open then, I think that flipped a switch in him.

Even Yuzuru's madness would have some limitations, I hope!

We are talking about the man who did a 4S-Lo-4S in the second part of a run through, after the choreo sequence, right?
