I feel very fortunate that I got to see Yuzuru at my first international competition -- Skate America 2012. The competition was two hours from my house. Seeing Parisian Walkways (in one of its earliest performances) in person was quite a delight! As was talking to Brian Orser at the hotel bar.

Aww, you got to see baby Yuzu break his first WR :luv17:

And :yes2: to Spidy-Jin keeping his SP. In honor of such good news, here's Boyang showing some pictures he took with Yuzu during 4CC  I think he showed it during a stream or something.

Oh, I thought you'd said he was changing his FS, not SP. The Spiderman program is great, I approve of leaving it for the Olympics. It's definitely better of the two and if he goes clean with it, I'm sure it'll pay off.

I wouldn't mind if Yuzuru left his LGC sp, that program is sure to entartain most of the casual of Olympics fs watchers.

IA, if he were to keep LGC I'd be cool with it, and I think the casual olympic crowd would love it.
If he is choosing to have a new sp and fs for next season then I have faith it'll be something that will show why he's such a star

I know! Remember the days when getting 95+ was a big deal?!

Here's the low-quality photo I took, lol: https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31...=7cd632807b84b42ced5faea75bb95151&oe=592D3300

Here's what I wrote on FB:

Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu skates a fantastic short program to set a record with a score of 95.07. Great jumps, great choreography, just an all-around awesome program that was great to witness live. That triple axel is crazy amazing!

I laugh so hard. :laugh2: That was funny! "We're quite old" , Yuzu is like in the middle, not in the youngsters not in the uncles area..

I think "we're quite old" is Javi. I think Yuzu just said "I agree"........ but haha yeah. I laughed outloud

It must have been you, then, who talked about Winnie the Pooh - and Brian saying that he used to laugh about Pooh, but now he had to carry it for Yuzu? :)

I need some advise for what kind of gifts I can give to Yuzu? Since it will be my first time for this thing so I am really confused about it.
I know people usually throw toys and flowers but I want something special for my favorite skaters.
Yeah, I mean any other things except the Pooh…

Throw him some high-quality earphones he'll love that 10/10

Wow did I wake up to people talking about his next GP assignment already?

Anyway, the schedule is not fixed yet and the assignment will really depend on the podium placement. There are 5-6 top guys (Yuzu, Javi, Patrick, Nathan, Shoma, Boyang) and they all have the potential to be on the podium. If anything, Yuzuru has all the chances to share a GP assignment with any of them, be it patrick, javi, shoma, jin or nathan. I'd say there is not a single GP that is completely off-limits for him, including SA. ;)

Plus his are like 200,000 Yen? I don't know if he'll appreciate ones that aren't a fortune.

He appreciate each gift and letter.
However, I don't know he will like it or not since himself is such a big fan earphones with more than 50 paris of top-quality.
Further more, is it OK to throw earphones on the ice?? Will the box hurt the ice???
