I thought the main reason why Yuna got silver was no matter what itseem the judges ready to gave the gold to Russian(Yulia) even before the competition started, maybe they also ready to overscore Yulia if only the girl skate decently, unfortunately Yulia did poor on indivual event so the rest was hella messy.

So, for PC next year, Korean don't have top man skater, so I guess is so unlikely if the judges will Yuna'ed Yuzu if he skate the best, ohh wait..I forget American..

I just read NHK'15 archieve thread, and I notice that everyone reaction about Boyang program that season was perfectly the same with Nathan's this season. Good SP, but empty LP which only filled with skate-jump-skate-jump and many user said that Boyang will improve his SS and it was turn to be true this season but it's efect his jump consistency, so we just wait for next season if Nathan will pull a Boyang or pull a Medvedeva?

honestly tho, do you all expect there is one top skater who can pull a Zenya? With the quad race?

As for the music question, too many (as Yata knows, since I spam her with that stuff ) A lot of people want Final Fantasy, but if, I'd personally want The price of freedom to be part of it, or Road to Zanarkand, instead of the usual FF7 stuff. Since I love Rockstar Yuzu, I'd love I don't care or Centuries from Fall Out Boy. Or even better, he could mix it with drama and give me Snuff mixed with Vermillion from Slipknot, and my life would be complete. As for Tangos, I think he would be awesome with this. There are more, but I will leave it at that. As you see, I need him to be around for many, many, many more years

But honestly, I love his taste, so I have faith in his decisions for next season :luv17: Not you though Brian. I love you, but get away with those 'safe' choices :handw:

also, I am aware it's only been a day but the tango idea is slowly growing on me... As in, I can imagine the fire in his eyes with his hair styled up now

But I still can't imagine him skating to it. His style is very flowy and light... in my mind it just doesn't go with a tango, if that makes sense.

This is a song i really like, and it actually reminds me of him a bit...
Of course he isn't a clown haha, but change that "trapeze" for quads and "tight rope" for 4S3T also the "Break a leg" thing, in japanese is actually "ganbatte" but they translated it as "Break a leg" here.
The first verse might not be that relevant, but everything else reminds me of him things that i would like to say to him if you will haha

I would be so on board for a "Centuries" -Fall out Boy short program! And final fantasy music would be great, I am partial to 7. There is so much to choose from with final fantasy music in general. I used final fantasy sheet music as a way to get out of being a classical pianist when I was in high school, it sounded impressive enough to my piano teacher that I got to play it. She was fine with me ditching my Chopin for Uematsu.

I also trust Yuzu's music choices, and as much as I have loved his warhorse programs I hope he avoids the warhorses next season.

Final Fantasy has been one of the most popular music choices since I can remember. And yes, there is so much, I'm sure everyone could find something they would like... and maybe it's not even the most impossible wish, given that it's a japanese composer and Yuzu is a gamer


Oh, and I realize, I forgot to mention Lindsay Stirling. Lots of Lindsey Stirling (Does this last one scream half loop combo to anybody else? Okay, maybe it's just me. Or if we miss Rock and Japanese, I want Distress & Coma

Possible dumb question but does yuzu typically cut his program music himself? His music cuts are always really good (while some other skaters have really odd cuts at times) I kinda assumed it was like someone's job somewhere to cut music into skating programmes hahaha or the coach/choreographer did it

Most skaters get professionals to cut their music to varied results. There have been many music cuts that have been cringeworthy now that lyrics are allowed and some people want to skate to 10 songs at once...

and no sad face will change the fact that you make inappropriate comments about yuzu although I do enjoy it for the laughs, not here to stop you, what would yuzu think of you?

Actually i thought about changing them to 4A too, it seems very Yuzu-like... (But i think the Combo of Doom must be a better replacement for now...)
Well, they might be inappropriate but honestly, it doesn't distract me from his skating so i doubt he would be too bothered by what i think of him when he isn't skating. It's not like that's the only thing i care about him...

He definitely fiddled with it. He was adjusting the melody to 1/8th of a second so that it fits better with his jumps. The 'breathing' at the start of Seimei was also him.

Wasn't there an interview when the guy who was responsible for the music cut of Seimei said Yuzu constantly mailed him and asked for chances, and he made like 30 different versions? Yuzu is definitely a lot more involved in the creation of his programs than most. He has a lot of quite specific ideas... I think one thing he asked for specifically was the drum during his Ina Bauer, that wasn't there originally. Definitely another thing about him that is :luv17: just not for the poor guy who made that music cut
