I nearly got my 4S3T doze from you today... Thank you! ;)

Why do you like to talk about 4S3T everyday? or is it just joking?

it still haunts me, that 4S3T. I went to my first ever figure skating competition aka 4CC to see our precious Yuzu. Got A Seat for short programme and he popped that 4S3T right in front of me. I was not prepared for that because he usually got it under control during SP. He nailed it during practices too. I got depressed and stress-ate and had lots of soju-beer that night.

i really like the one he wore back in 2015 for sp Chopin ballade No 1
also this season he just look so elegant
i like most of the costumes he wore so far
oh and romeo and juliet one when he was 17, i love that program especially the last climax part gets me everytime

Well, as a matter of fact, I DON'T like the fuss about 4S3T, but since the obsession with the combo was rampant, I might as well joke about it. :)

I also love these outfits :luv17:

But I think POTO (the 2nd one) is maybe my favourite. And this season's swan. I also like Requiem despite everyone calling it a lettuce

No, you're in majority - but I love the swan costume. But again, he's the only skater in the world who'd look gorgeous in it - he does become a swan...

I was depressed about it all the season and now I start to believe that joking about it is a better approach. Safer for my nerves.

Oh, it's OK, 4Sal is by far his most spoken about jump ever. Even his 3A gets less attention. :)

Hopefully after WTT (or quad battle at Worlds ) we will have other jumps to discuss. Lately even 4Lo isn't getting any attention at all.

Natalie Pechalant also does not like it right?
I think it suits him, but wouldn't suit anyone else.

Nathalie Péchalat loves manly men with manly costumes so I wouldn't be surprised she doesn't like it

I think I have a problem with costume with feathers. I just want to pluck the skaters who wear them ;)
And also the low-cut neckline... I don't think it highlights his beautiful silhouette ?

I must admit that I'm almost okay with the costume during the program.
My problem is before and after, when he's just his dorky self and that the light isn't flattering anymore.

Which ones?

I think the worst yet is POTO? both of them. i don't even want to talk about those. then there's also the notre dame one. the cross across is chest, the ornaments down the side of his leg... my eyes burn just thinking about it. there's just too much going on... For that same reason I also still feel lukewarm abt the boobskirt. some of his outfits just have way too much going on for my tastes. I like dramatic costumes but there has to be a clear concept... That's why I actually also like the lettuce

But just because it's Yuzuru I grew to like some of his costumes that defy my usual tastes! eg. LGC orrr RJ1... I especially love the gloves from RJ1 :luv17:

What I'm really hoping for is to have something that defines his waist again... the chopin ones did that, and also all the pants+shirt combos did that, eg. parisienne walkways.. also hana ni nare!!

I am really inconsistent with capitalization but I'm too lazy to fix it rn LOL

But what matters is the program - the nod towards the classical ballet swans (though not to the point of trying to recreate ballet on ice a-la Weir), his beautiful slender arms getting more emphasis and being a larger part of the choreography - it just takes your breath away.
As for dorkiness at the gala finale... well, he nearly always stood out anyway. The only time he blended was... Grand Prix events of 2011 when he wore a T-shirt and jeans.

another round of costume talk - everyone, join the fun!!!

Overall I like the swan costume, I just don't get why that deep V back is needed . :palmf:

I like the V-neck of the Swan costume but dislike the feathers on the chest, it looks a bit messy. Though the whole costume doesn't look bad from the distance...it just I don't like the details.
