Tbh at 4CC he seemed a bit off the music at points, I kinda thought the lack of a lean on the knee slide was because he was a touch off the music and rushing through the move to finish in the right beat.

If he was having an issue I think it was likely mild and will have been addressed before worlds. It's possible he just felt a bit stiff and opted to avoid aggravating it into an actual injury. Stiffness can be loosened up so long as you don't push your luck with it, and yuzurus getting better at paying attention to his body XD

yeah I was thinking that, too, he was a little late on the step sequence and didn't have the time to lean back fully... but then he also left the biellmann out so it's kind of ambigious. in any case, I agree that whatever it was it wouldn't have been too serious.

also I actually liked the spin without the biellmann too... the way he releases out of it with his arms is super pretty (his gloves make me cry) and it connects the spin to the step sequence very naturally

He didn't lean in official practice either, which made me think he had a little something in his back, definitely nothing big. It honestly made me happy to see him taking actual steps to take care of his body... if that were the case. And I'm sure he'd be recovered from that by now.
 
Speaking of Carmina Burana/classical warhorse versus Japanese video game/anime OSTs, why not the best of both worlds :) I'm partial to these powerful, dark, uber-drama pieces for Yuzuru:

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best gaming OSTs (and games ;)) of all time, probably would work better as a medley. I love Prologue, A Despair-Filled Farewell, and Sky Burial, but really, you can't go wrong. Mysterious, ominous, wondrous, contemplative, dangerous, and thrilling all at once.

Based on product description, seems like Yuzuru will only be in the 24pg Men's Figure Skating book, alongside Keiji, Shoma, Tomono, Shimada, Nathan, Patrick, etc. I would say not if you want Yuzu-centric content?

Wow, those are nice. Kinda want to play those games just for the OST now. I do wonder what Yuzuru would do with those. I think Prologue would work for him.

Off topic (sorta) I just found the person responsible of me being here...
A friend on tumblr who linked to the live stream of sochi, and reblogged a ton of yuzu pics.
I even found the post i reblogged, in february 14, 2014, boobskirt!Yuzu draped in the japanese flag, i couldn't stop congratulating him...
I tried so hard and got so far but in the end it didn't even matter(:laugh2:) and here i am, with tickets for skate canada :laugh:

I don't like it either when they forced his hair to be so neat. his hair in natural state/gel up himself is perfect already.
