On the topic of costumes, I like POTO1 as well, particularly his signature asymmetrical lines, but I'm fine with never seeing red in competition on him again after CoC :sad4: I do love POTO2, there's a lot of interesting things going on in the pattern and the blue,white and gold combination looks good on him as always. I also don't mind the collar, though the illusion mesh on his chest is a bit weird on close up.
I mostly like his taste, and accept RJ2, the pink shoelace/pink huge cross, that melon coloured (believe?) number, and garbage pants without problem, but the one I haven't been able to like at least a little bit is the Final Time Traveler shirt. It's ok-ish when he moves but when he's slouching and standing around the cut around his torso just doesn't do any favours, and that blue is also a bit too powdery.

RJ and POTO are now cursed by Yuzu and should never be touched.eta: I feel bad gor Junhwan, I thought he could take bronze.... but Vincent did amazing and I'm very proud of him

Men's figure skating is crazy. the kids have to do so many quads now. sad for BB Cha.. Vincent's TES is scary. First time following Junior. But noticed that none of them has Junior Yuzu's flow though. It can be that I am completely bias but Yuzu was/is just so smooth.

Yuzuru had his first junior season very terrible. But the season he turned 15, he won everything in junior circle. Of course the tech that day was weaker than the tech this day. But Yuzuru also had to competed against skaters quite older than him. That's quite impressive considering he was just 15 that time.
Anyway, I am glad Yuzuru does have 4lz in practice. He really really needs it next season.

Yuzu just has the kind of grace you can't learn. I really like some of the current juniors, especially Jun Hwan, but Yuzu had some gorgeous skates when he was a junior. I guess with the whole quad race there's just not enough time to focus on flow and artistry.

I was only twice did live streamed a competition (well, I'm new) and the result were
4CC
-I streamed the short, Yuzu ended up #3
-I didn't stream, yet he endep up won the free
JrWorld
-I didn't stream, Jun ended up #2 and got SB
-I streamed the free, and the rest is history
so y'all can count me guys, I won't stream the Worlds and will come back when the result is up

I recall Han Yan skating to R&J1 last year right? Marin Honda's free skate last year was also a mix of music from R&J1+2 I think. I'm curious, what other juniors are skating to it?
I do love the music and when I'm finally done with this essay palmf I would like to go through different skaters skating to R&J1

Jun Hwan was good even though he struggled on some jumps, at least his landings are not that scary. I had some hard time watching that russian kid, Samarin i think. he looked as if he was going to fall/faint anytime.
during 4CC practice, some of Shoma and Boyang landings scared me a lot. no one really flows out of their jumps like Yuzu. and difference in transitions is very visible/obvious if you watch live i guess. I don't know how they score transition in PC but Yuzu should be way ahead of almost the rest of the field.

Junior Worlds results prove once more that he was right about 4 quad FS and adding more types of quads.
It is innate kind of grace. I am watching juniors out of the curiosity as they are the future of figure skating, but I haven't seen anyone yet to match Yuzu at the same age.

Yes I may be biased, but for me Yuzu at 15-17 had more flow and grace than any of the junior now. And already his amazing 3A.
And fierce eyes and passion.... honestly he was already pretty unique
Agreed. The flow especially, like water. It's innate too because according to him, he spent 45 out of 60 minutes each day on the 3A in middle school. And by the time he was in junior circuit, he was only able to book an hour of ice time each day, so most of that also had to go to jump training. Both he and Brian mentioned how, before he went to Canada and started training skating skills in earnest, how he skated was all random and depended on his mood that day. Kid has been a natural since day one. =o=

I thought both are this season. Marin just had a brush up with Jeff recently and I remember it being the RJ step sequence. Han Yan too did RJ1 at AWG and 4CC
