Stanislava Konstantinova

Yes, she is special, but inconsistency is killing her.
Anyway, maybe she'll rock the arena with some magnificent fs! :cheer2:

Well done for getting a top 6 finish, Stasya- top 6 at Russian seniors, silver at Russian juniors, top 6 at World Juniors- not bad at all!

She is such an expressive, beautiful, tiny and smart young lady - totally unforgettable one, she had learned how to do everything already, now she just need to learn how to be confident and consistent. Hope, she will improve this part next season. Good luck!

6th place in such amazing tourney is nothing to be ashamed of. Good luck next season in seniors, Stasya! :cheer:

Are you kidding me? Have you seen her points? at Russian nationals this would be somehow the last places.
With this final of the season I am worried if she gets even a place for the Grand Prix next season.
This competition was pretty much her Waterloo.

Oh, really? :sarcasm:

So who has (virtually) defeated our beautiful, charismatic Napoleon in her last battle in your opinion?
Maybe Leonova with her 2 GP spots? Sakhanovich with hers? Have you seen Tuktamysheva lately?
Or Radionova? Or Tsurskaya, who was destined to become senior as well? Yulia with her health and ranking problems?

Where are those hordes of superior skaters blocking Stanislava's way to next year's senior Grand Prix? :rolleye:

are sure ...

Tuktik may get a bonus for having been WC and there are still Polina and few others ...

so, the spots will be pretty rare ...

Not to sugarcoat things, Stasya bombed at JW. So did Polina.
Will that stop Stasya from turning senior? Probably not, as she already had (and won) her senior international debut at Tallinn Trophy. She could still get 1 GP slot and CS assignments next season with her ISU SB and her Nationals placements.
But things could have been so much better for her in terms of prospects for 2 GP slots if she had skated as well at JW as she had at Sr and Jr Nats.
Hang in there Stasya -- this is a long haul and hope you will persevere!

There are still more spots than 10, plus we've no idea what form are skaters going to be at test skates in the summer. Writing about "Waterloo" in regard to Stasya 6th place out of 45 on the highest international junior level is quite an exaggeration and nasty thing to do in her own fan thread imho.

+1
Think it would be objective to rank Stasya as #8 among Russian senior age-eligible ladies going into next season, based on the aggregate of her domestic and international results this season.
She would be behind Zhenia, Zagitik, Anna, Masha, Lena, Polina, and Liza (in that order).
But she would still be ahead of Alena, Sima, Yulia, and both Alisa's (Fedichkina & Lozko).
So with a max of 18 senior GP spots, being in top 9 should get her at least one of them...

18 GP spots? From where?:scratch2:
I thought it would be 6 GP events * 2 = 12spots + 1 spot at home GP. So totally 13.
If Evgenia, Anna, Maria, Lena, Alina would have 2 spots. = 10 spots and 3 spots left
Polina, Liza, Sima, Stasia would fight for getting even 1 spot.
Am I wrong?

... and shut one's eyes to the facts is more than stupid.

Thats 10, remaining still Tuktik, Sima, Leonova, Polina

18 places, not more than 3, each event: Evgenia, Anna, Maria, ElenaR, Liza, Alina, Polina, Leonova, Stasya= 9х2, Serafima has no chance.

No, only one restricnion, no more than 3 for event, one or two of these places can be home GP, it`s usiual practice.

Yeah, losing to Alina about 50 points or so is very disappointing but placement wise I fell that 6th is a decent placement for her especially since medaling here would have been very difficult for her. If she does move to seniors she would most likely get one GP event even though her SB score most likely will not guarantee her one.

Zhenya, Polina, Alina, Anna, Stasya, Alisa F, Radio, Maria + home spot Yulia/Liza/Serafima.

In juniors: Angel, Dunya, Sasha, Anna, Vika, Katya Kurakova - don't know about others. Probably Lozko and ABBA girl. But better discuss it in this thread.
