Well, now Javier Fernandez is announcing his team collegue, since he trains together with Yuzuru Hanyu, the olympic victor, in Canada with Brian Orser.
And I can imagine very well that the two surely celebrated themselves yesterday after their double success and after bestowing their trainer with an incredible present. Of course it is great for a coach to have two such strong skaters together who are quite different from each other and yet such great artists on the ice.

Now we see Yuzuru Hanyu- we did already experience Javier Fernandez on the ice earlier and now the one who placed first among the men. He successfully defended his title which was not anticipated as such because he barely managed to get into the Grand Prix Final as the sixth one, the last one. He had alot of bad luck in the Grand Prix series: Among others there was his collision at the Cup of China with the chinese Han Yan. There he skated with a bandage on his head and didn't manage to gain momentum. But now he is back and on the track to success.

Yuzuru Hanyu! The winner at the grand Prix Final in Barcelona ahead of his team collegue, ahead of Javier Fernandez, and Sergei Voronov the russian who ranked third. These were the placements of the top three among the men. And he deserved it. He had a fall in the short program and yesterday he solely messed up the Lutz again- in the short it was the triple lutz triple toe loop combo where he fell on the toe loop. Other than that everything worked out- two different quadruples he charmed onto the ice. That is a fantastic accomplishment. And his skating style is truly unique- incredibly soft- and of course he is always rewarded with high components accordingly. He glides out of his jumps smooth as butter. You can also not forget that he is just 20 years young. Second, first, first are his results thus far from the last three issues of the Grand Prix Series. And now the next big goal, of course, is defending his title at the next world championships.

Worlds 2014 Sp - and a heartbreak - Worlds 2016 Sp? I'll understand if you say 'no' or prefer to do it later?
For some reason that youtube user has collected quite a number of German ESP videos... I wish there were a Russian-language collector too!

I was actually already looking through that youtube, it's a gem! I hadn't seen that one before so thanks for bringing it to my attention.
I just started doing the 2016 GPF FS because it is commentated by the female commentator, Petra Bindl, whom I prefer but I can do those too... Might take some time but I'll get to it. :)

Yes, it's well known that Yuzu and Mura have close relationship based on their love for quads and earphones:agree: From what I understood from various interviews and articles, they do exchange a lot on these subjects. Mura even said he's still competing because Yuzu gave him support and inspiration. And then Oda I think they enjoy friendly bantering and jokes with each other:laugh: All in all I imagine he's more comfortable with male skaters because his interests are really boy's things, you know.
