Yuzu and elizabet has not signed this. I wonder if this is taken during the simulation?

You are right. I assume he will take that, or air canada + lufthansa, since I doubt he will ride budget or took longer flight time. Though I would still have no idea which of it.

Is that Javi's sign? I doubt it is , looks different .

Up to the right near Yuzu pic is DW sign, Imo the second one near Javi's pic is a coach or someone else, if my memory is not failing Javi signs differently, of course I can't put my head on it .

Although there is no direct flight, I have no doubt there will be fans expecting him at the airport, just as it was at 4CC when he arrived unexpectedly from Japan

I don't know how Javi's sign is like tbh. But both elizabet and Yuzu did not go to the latest simulation and theirs are evidently empty, so I assume it was taken there thus they did not sign

When he competes outside Asia, fans don't really wait for him to arrive at the airport like they did when he was in China or South Korea, I think? They did not do that in Boston and they didn't even do that so much in Japan. I only saw that they greet him when he returned after GPF but not when he is arriving for competition. I'd say what happened at SK or China where there are fans ready to greet him when he come out of the airport gate to be more of an outlier? :scratch2:
There will probably be some journalist around, but I don't think there will be many fans.

I remember some video with him at Boston's airport and the media was all around him but there were some confused looking Americans in the background who looked like "who *is* this kid?!"

Yes I remember that video too. He was still inside the gate if I am not wrong, and was still taking out his luggage from the conveyor belt and the media was all surrounding him  Wasn't it like that at GPF too?

Yes, it is Helsinki after all  I don't remember if there were fans waiting in Marseille. I do remember some photos taken at the airport, but nothing more...

Yep. If he arrives on Saturday or Friday, that means fans has to take more than a week off from school or work :p They would see him at practice anyway. We probably would see some if we are lucky though. Usually some skaters would arrive in the same time as him and post pics or something. Or maybe some fans would

IDK if Yuzu fans in China/Japan/Korea use the same tactics that idol fans do but there are ways of finding flight info when they are not really supposed to...(I run/ran an idol fansite but alas my idol is super unpopular so I usually find out flights cuz he told me directly or told another fan directly lmao but some idol fans full on hack or have friends who work for airlines. though honestly guessing is often enough and the most common way of 'finding out' flights is guess work. his 4CC flight it's likely someone saw him in Japan but didn't spread it publicly, but rather sent it through some dms or whatever, though if press was there...the info was out there somewhere...)

 I hope he sleeps well on his flights and the fans that greet him are well behaved

Yep, it's not Javi's sign, nor Brian's. Maybe Tracey's or Ghislain's.

Any chance you guys could record it then? If it's on your computer, if there's no other option, Bandicam is free and really easy to use.

I'll give it a try too, if I'm home when it happens (or if there is a way to watch it not live). Just in case one of us falters XD

Team Cricket has just posted it, it seems they had send off party where Yuzuru, javi and Liza were absent

Someone needs to photoshop Javi, Yuzu, and Elizabet in here.... #teamcricket #WorldFigure"

So that's when they signed the banner.

For 4CC, the flight arrival for Toronto-Seoul is about the same hour with Sendai-Seoul. So had they not know about his being in Sendai before, they would have still come across him, I think. Beside, there are also other skaters who trained at Cricket, so when he stopped showing up at practice they would assume he departed already?

Or Lee Barkell? But yeah after looking for Javi's signature, it doesn't look like his

Thanks, marin! Both Javi and Yuzu went for the sendoff last year, so I wonder if they had departed already

Oh, boy. My obsession with Yuzuru is getting out of hand. I had a 'nightmare' last night in which he got injured at Worlds and withdrew after the SP. Was very relieved to see it was only a dream...

If they went guessing he was flying from Toronto then they were either super lucky the gates were the same or caught on real quick he didn't take that flight  Incheon is a pain in the butt for arrivals even if you know what country the person is flying from!

But yeah theres a bunch of ways people would be tipped off that he departed. And pm if you have a vague idea of what day anyone is likely to fly/arrive and where they are flying from (even better, preferred airlines) it's fairly easy to guess flights. So, unless he's snuck out of Canada and is taking a creative route to Helsinki, it's fair to assume some fans will form a greeting party XD

*sends you my dreams of Yuzu setting a new WR for SP*

In my dream the other night, he skated SP very clean and all the fans were waiting for world record score but I woke up just before it was announced. He was bowing and waving with Pooh and all. we are so obsessed. :)

May all the good dreams come true next week :).

Btw there will be no livestream for practices I suppose?

I have just discovered that Spanish ESP will not broadcast men SP live :hopelessness: My hopes now lay with Spanish TDP. They livestream some competitions on their web as it happened with Europeans.

I am taking two days off work just to watch Worlds. I can't believe it!
