After Europeans this year, where airline lost Daniel Samohin luggage with his skates and he couldn't skate well, I'm a little bit concerned about flights )))

It really was beautiful. I usually don't watch this version because I can't see that thumbnail of his face in the LP, but I had to after you mentioned it because my (possibly unpopular) opinion is Chopin is his best SP ever.

Absolutely agree. For me it is the overall best SP ever. It is more then just figure skating, it is magic.

Uh. News said he left from NARITA AIRPORT

Not yet according to that article, which came out 30 minutes ago. It says he left for Helsinki, from Japan :shocked:

Wearing a mask as usual, media caught him at check-in. Greeted reporters with yoroshiku onegaishimasu~ but went ahead without saying anything else.

So, Friday from Toronto --> Tokyo --> Helsinki

Says he looked relaxed, was smiling at the reporters (with mask on?? maybe his eyes.)

So happy to hear Yuzu and his skates safely landed in Helsinki

In February he left from Japan to compete at 4 CC , actually this is not the first time it happens .

I agree, I love PW and LGC too, but Chopin is so special IMO

Hehe, his co-year at Waseda + certified fanboy + Team Japan swimmer, Seto, said at his graduation ceremony that he wanted to meet Hanyu but ... ninja Hanyu~

Could it be because the ANA airport hub is in Japan, therefore his connecting flight originates from Japan? Did he stop over in Japan for a long time?

*_* Things like this are so interesting!! I love how fans can break down exactly how complex the programme is and analyse things like this. (One day, one day, I will know skating well enough to be able to recognise these things... it's why I kinda want to learn how to skate even though I'm too old to be able to do much because at least I'd understand more when watching...)

Same here! I can recognize the jumps now, so maybe someday I will learn steps and turns too. I was skating a few times in my life, and unfortunately, I don't have any talent for this

Glad to see that he has arrived. Hopefully he will have a good rest and would be ready for what await in days to come.

I think if he did show up for Waseda graduation ceremony we would see pictures of it, if not then he probably he went for other arrangements. I remembered he said he did not take up much classes and was focusing on training, kind of implying that he would not be graduating on time, but who knows, maybe he did... Interesting how for the past 2 competitions he went back to Japan first; but then again lately he rarely went to the latter half of the season's competition like 4CC. :think:

he will arrive there in about 5 hours from now, which will be around 10pm in Japan.
I hope Fuji sports news "Heros" starting at 11:15pm will have some information about his arrival :agree:

I FINALLY ARRIVED! Not in Helsinki yet, but in London, and I will fly to Helsinki on Tuesday. I'm so excited :yay: First time in Europe, alone, just to see Yuzuru :luv17:

Huh. Well, just because he wasn't at the ceremony, doesn't mean he hasn't graduated. I guess we'll find out in due time. But most importantly now, hopefully he arrives well in Helsinki and can rest properly until tomorrow. All that hopping though, he must have a great tolerance for it.

It should be the one, yes. If he arrives at 15.20 (Finnish time?) then 3.5 hours are left. I think he wouldn't choose a non direct flight, that would be very tiring.
