Whenever he says he's in perfect condition, I feel a little bit anxious. Because if he doesn't land that combo while in perfect, best condition ever, then I don't know how he could fix that... Mental blocks can be harder to fix than physical ones.

I still can't believe how he pulled off that 4CC stunt.

Anyone knows why did he fly to Japan first and then to Helsinki? Any media related activities? Anything else?

Yuzuru did the same thing when flying to the Four Continents Championships. He stopped in Japan briefly before going to South Korea. I think the purpose of the stop in Japan on both occasions was to coordinate and connect with his personal trainer/therapist, Kikuchi-san, and the JSF appointed bodyguard before heading to the competitions.

And maybe it felt important for him to arrive at a major event with some of his Japanese teammates, rather than some Canadian club mates or competitors. Maybe it is a mind set thing and makes him feel ready for a comp.

Hmm, so when I wake up tomorrow, practice will already be over... that's nice for me. News will be posted instead of me having to wait for it... I am lazy like that
