Pretty sure we all did too, but if he'd rippon'ed his 3F, we'd have video and the two Pamigena posted are your run-of-the-mill 3F with the new exit.

Ah I must've misunderstoof the tweet(s) about it...sorry XD I thought he rippon'd it too

Watching Dani's video, and I'm amused at how much happy clapping there was after Yuzu finally landed a 4S3T in this practice session.

They are livestreaming the ladies draw. Which means they'll do the same tomorrow. Gosh

I have just received my copy of Aoi Honoo I! :hap85: Just the day before the competitioon starts! Can't wait to get home and open the box.

And since it is my post No. 200 I would like to give thanks to everyone who contributes to this thread with info, links, photos, videos and translations. I have spent almost a year here and it has always been my first and best source of information about my favoutite skater.

:thank:

I hope this competition goes well. Skating gods, please!

Thank you very much to everyone that posted about Yuzu practise today! :thank:

Hope everyone that are in Helsinki have a great time :)

Hey I also have free tickets to women's SP, men's SP, FS (all level 1) that my friend paid for and couldn't use. please PM me :D they are freee but I prefer if it's a Yuzu fan

Jackie Wong doesn't seem to be tweeting from there so we may not get live updates. Is sad.

Although the second session has began with Yuzu, found another article from Mainichi.
Rough translation of Yuzu’s comments and Yuzu-related parts:

-Asked about winning second title after 3 years
“I don’t feel like this is another Worlds. I don’t have obsession about winning second title either.”

-About the jump mistakes in the second half of his run-through
“The ice felt different from yesterday, probably due to the change of outside air temperature. There’s no special pressure. I’m being able to condition myself with confidence.”

-Prepared himself to get over 300 marks in total
“The most important thing is to push my limit to the max and going into the competition in that condition.” He said. Outside the run-through he was able to land the quadruple jumps easily. “I’m being able to focus on myself. I’m in very good condition.” He said with confidence.

-About losing by 3.75 at 4CC
“At 4CC I could not add a third jump to a combination, so I’ve practiced various combinations.”

-About jumps
“If I nail the jumps beautifully, my programs would be more exciting. So the jumps are important.”

ETA: Oops it has already been translated by @Iron Kraus! Sorry @xeyra for not checking enough. His/her version sounds more natural as English I think.

Hello everyone :) it's been awhile though I've been lurking and keeping up with the thread

Really happy to hear that Yuzuru is not too stressed about the title, seems to have been a stress factor last year

So beautiful jumps, I mean that 4T-Lo-3S combination :drama:

He has been practicing 4A, and might even have rotated some!!! seems to be a bit unclear if he's rotated some though since it was a google translated comment from Max but still

Just got home to Sweden yesterday, wished at the airport that I could just sneak on a plane to Helsinki, I'm so close yet so far away...
Thanks everyone sharing info, photos and videos (and everything else) :thank:
