I doubt they will do something like this... tano/rippon doesn't have BV by yourself. It's just one of 8 possible bullets for GOE. 1of8!! I don't see any sense in doing it.
And it's not like they're going to cut bullet about "difficult entry" .... just because there's a lot of skaters who do the same entries... same about steps...
FOR + 1 : 2 bullets FOR + 2 : 4 bullets FOR + 3 : 6 or more bullets
1) unexpected / creative / difficult entry
2) clear recognizable (difficult for jump preceded by steps/movements of the Short Program)
steps/free skating movements immediately preceding element
3) varied position in the air / delay in rotation
4) good height and distance
5) good extension on landing / creative exit
6) good flow from entry to exit including jump combinations / sequences
7) effortless throughout
8) element matched to the musical structure
IMO Orser just doesn't like when Bet are trying to do rippons... that's it....

Off topic, but seriously, no matter how much they try to hype this girl up, she's STILL just mediocre. Evgenia blowing her nose is literally more interesting than anything Tursenbaeyva has ever presented on ice and like, she's supposedly the next Kim Yuna? Please, sit down.Go work harder and actually be releavant. Do the quad or go away.
Please let's not use Zhenya's thread to bash a skater and her coach like this. They are not the ones imposing the change, and it's Orser's job to reassure his skater, it's logical he would say stuff like this. The important thing is that there MIGHT be a rule change, and if there is, all the athletes will have to adjust to it somehow.
But I highly doubt Zhenya would be even a little bit fazed by a rule change in a GOE bullet, out of all things. She can't do that many tanos? Well she still had good flow, difficult entrance and exit, good height and distance and they are matched with the music very well :yes:

Yep, it's just the same whining from the same hateful people ad nauseum, particularly after the competition ends. It has zero impact on Evgenia's success, obviously, so they can keep complaining until the cows come home (and they will). But xibsuarz is right - let's please not bring that kind of negativity to anyone's fan fest.

Sorry I've removed that post. I got a bit carried away today. I value my right to an opinion but that was just outright bashing. Again, I apologize.
Anyway, back on topic, there IS one little thing that bothers me about Evgenia's SP and it's not the jump rope (which is dumb choreography but not really her fault). At the beginning when she talks, I just find it so jarring. In a way, she kind of breaks the 4th wall and it takes away from an otherwise flawless performance. I don't think it's necessary to tell the story, and probably just confuses people. Then again, she's the champ and will be for a long time it seems, so she can do whatever she wants lol.

I would love her to quit tanos at least for rippons that look much more balanced and prettier for me 
I loved her yestarday's combo imo. Still, my favorite jumps from her are loop and salchow, both of them are just stunning. Her toe is obviously amazing but they are her best jumps and I'm happy she just do them 'normally' lol, yet she still gets big and very deserved GOEs on these two.
