OMG, that crazy hair. THAT my friends, is the craziest bed head i've ever seen on someone with shorter hair.... and he was not even getting out of bed, LOL. :laugh2:

About him not being good anymore: I laugh at hearing commentators say " he hasn't skated clean since 2015..." um, that means just last skating season... and most of the guys don't skate totally clean after injury... which no one EVER mentions in broadcasts. Makes me angry... :devil:

I don't want to think about 4s. Skating god is very cruel. Ive heard his back is much worse, so he couldn't do that pose curving his back enough. All I can do is wishing his health till retirement.

I also have backache too, so when I watched 4CC and interview, I noticed it... :cry:

So it'd be a competition with only Patrick and Yuzu, since they're the only ones currently competing to have set any kind of record at some point. Well, we can maybe add in Shoma since he broke a FS junior record, I think, that Vincent recently obliterated anyway. Seems like a small competition...

Yeah, hope someone chooses that for the face club. The hair's absolutely worth it! :rofl:

I was just thinking... Yuzuru has really challenged himself this season. In his short he is doing two new jumping passes: 4L and 4S+3T (with incredible entrances and exits, especially the 4L), that must be quite the adjustment and I can only imagine that it requires quite a lot of hard work and mental strength.

In his free skate he is doing an additional quad + the aforementioned new jumping passes. That is a lot of things going on, and I'm a firm believer in milage being one of the most important aspects of mastering anything. Look at how beautiful his 4L is, surly the fact that he is doing it in both his short and free has really helped make it so amazing. It has helped him to master it physically and mentally. I believe that the same might become true with the 4S+3T, frustrating as it is it is helping him grow - technically and mentally. I mean his single 4S became absolutely beautiful. Yes, perhaps 4S+3T is not meant to be and he will give it up, but given how well he can do it in practice (his technique is clearly great on it) I actually still dare to believe in it. Sometimes there must be growing pains, and looking at Javi and Patrick doing well makes me optimistic for Yuzuru's future - he is still only 22 (like me).

I like and respect the other skaters a lot, but few of them are doing as complex programs as he is with their added elements, which in my mind just shows how extraordinary this space alien is :biggrin: I remember Yuzuru's quote:

This is my hand held banner. Yesterday I managed to finished the gold sequins by the 2nd men group for Yuzu's SP (I was contemplating to go in watch the 2 groups but wanted to finish the gold for Yuzu). Today I added the red sequins on the rising sun.

I love all the Yuzu fans banner, fans in pooh costume, fans holding pooh, fans with Yuzu's buttons on their clothing, fans doing gifts exchange, the Pooh rain......you can feel all the love.

At the Edea booth the Yuzu postcard always run out. Yesterday, I saw a bunch of postcards on the table, asked the guy anymore Yuzu postcard, he said come back at 6pm :laugh:.

Nothing new (he really likes boasting the fact that his students are a more complete package :biggrin: ), but there's some footage of Yuzu skating to LGC at the TCC

You said you are 22 and I love to see how a young person like you believe in hard work and endurance of short-lived pains which will bring in the greatest achievements. So happy to read your post, bravo :agree:

Great interview! :biggrin: And the skating footage was great, it gives us some angles that aren't always recorded for the broadcast! We really need a 360 broadcast of Yuzu's programs...
 
Let me tell you about my Worlds experience: During the SD, during the 6 min warmup, the girl to my left was going through a tablet gallery full of Yuzu pictures. The lady to my right was looking at the shots of purple pants and Poohs on Twitter. Meanwhile, I was browsing through the Yuzu fanfest. :laugh: Despite the fact that I'm a lone European sitting in what appears to be Japanese and Chinese sector, I feel kinda at home.:biggrin:
