I translated R.ESP commentary earlier today.Thank you Eclair for doing the German commentary translation for Boyang's LP. Really enjoyed reading that!
Could someone please do the Russians commentary of Boyang too ?? Anyone out there??
Thank you in advance!!
And they didn't say anything about him. After his FS they only imaginated how many quads Nathan could jump.

What did Boyang say when asked about how he had celebrated during small medal ceremony? I catched only eating something and sleep.

that's all he said, lol. Just a short answer: eat instant noodles. Go to sleep.
I found it hilarious how the moderating ladies couldn't believe their (all men's) way of celebrating![]()

so despite all this critic, hate, belittling Boyang managed to win bronze medal, just because he can, between his signature shimmies and with a cute smile of his(YASS to all divas who won medals/had their best outings in Helsinki despite 'public conviction' over them bombing

I mean - what is wrong with people to sneer on him capitalizing on his best qualities and to win medal in a very good, high-level competition? It is not that he stole that medal from ANYONE, and my opinion is that he really worked for those FS score he received. He appears much more engaged, grown-up and conscious about his skating and performance-wise which paid off big way. And sure he's not yet on Daisuke Takahashi level of interpretation and skill polish regarding 'La Strada', but to each on their own - for me that kind of comparison is fair, but not with 'condemnation'/'belittling' value, but more of referential one as personally, from now BOTH 'La Stradas' will have a cosy place in my heart in memory, because how different and special they were![]()
Agree. Especially with all the media and so called critics hyping up Chen as the one who started the quad race and refining the landscape of men skating. :roll5: Well guess what, one went overboard and totally bombed while the other delivered the goods on the day and went home with a medal. :handw: Haters can continue to disparage him but you will never silent him. :taunt:

A late congratulations to Boyang for his consecutive bronze medal!
I'm curious what sort of music you fans would like to see Boyang skate to next season. I'd love for him to do a space program, maybe the Star Wars soundtrack, Space Odyssey, something from Hans Zimmer?
I find epic programs could suit him quite well, to complement his epic jumps![]()
Or la Bohemme? My musical repertoire is way to small... I think so far La Bohemme is my favorite: something powerful, epic and fast, yet sensitive..I was critising the media not Nathan. And I am not spreading false rumours. If you read some of the previews done by the press they hype Nathan as the one who started this craze while Boyang is totally casted aside.@icybear, Nathan himself, has tremendous respect for Boyang and said in numerous interviews that it is Boyang started this quad race of men skating. Also, from what I heard in media, the credit is also always goes to Boyang, Nathan is only been accoladed at the first men to land 5 quads, that is it.
please do not spread false info(injected with your personal bias) around.
Stopped by to say huge congratulations to Boyang on his second World medal!! Wanted to share this cute picture of Boyang "hiding" during small medal ceremony
