Hello everyone, as the thread is going too fast, I am asking for an interview right after this WC in which he said something like: "if my 17 years old see this, he would be quite disappointed and want more gold medals" or something like that (not the exact words). Chopin is beautiful, I'd be delighted if he skated on the 2nd Nocturne - but I confess I'd like it even better if he chose something a little bit more unusual and new. Ballade is already a masterpiece.

But I think what I wanted to say is that it takes a sensitive, musical heart and mind to recognize the ambition behind H&L’s interpretation. So that’s why most of the commentators can’t manage to understand it.

Recently all this talk about skaters being "balletic" or not made me think about ballet music for Olympics or later. What do you think?
I am not fan of Nathan's programs but one day I would like to see Yuzuru skating to Le Corsaire or something similar.

And he has already skated to ballet music:
- Notte Stellata is the Swan by Saint-Sans
- White Legend is a based on Swan Lake music

For skaters in South East Asia...Brian Orser will conduct a 3-day development camp in Singapore April 11-13.

He is in new york now? How busy would he be this month. Heard he would be in Singapore next week for traning/development camp purposes too and the next month he would have WTT. Never an off-season for him eh

I assume he will fly from Singapore to Japan right away to spend several days with Yuzuru before WTT.
Because there is no sense to go back to Canada for 6 days and then come to Japan... me thinks.

You are right. The flight from Canada to Singapore and vice versa would take around 20 hrs and that would be too damn long. He probably would just stay in Japan after he is done in Singapore.

Edit : Or he will just have a 2-3 days vacation in singapore who knows hahaha

Yea he is, Strait Times (local Singapore news website) wrote about it here

They also wrote a bit about Yuzuru, his result in World, and how he and Orser (and Yuna) inspire skaters in Singapore.

Once again, I still hope that he will skate to something by Wagakki Band, be it SP, FS or EX. The band has such versatility and they are a fusion of traditional and modern styles. Recommend Strong Fate. Though prolly not possible next year cos Korea.

Either that or Empire of Angels or Icarus by Torrent. ESPECIALLY ICARUS.
He won't skate to anything Korean, but I can daydream abt Lee Sun Hee's Fate no? Or the Iljimae OST Lonely Footprints?
