Ah, I totally forgot about next season nationals:laugh: But he may see it as his responsibility to participate in home events. He is Japanese after all, 90% responsibility and 10% kawaii :)

I'd hope he doesn't do NHK out of 'responsibility' but there are so many factors who could play a role... and to be honest, I'm just selfishly happy it's relatively likely he'll be in Europe for one of his GP events. And I wouldn't care much if it's CoR or TdF, I'd just rush to either :)

I want yuzu to do as little travel as possible... while used to it, less is still better. Would he want SC again? I am sure he will always want NHK, but who will they want? That is an interesting question.

If Yuzu doesn't do SC, I want Shoma!!! Or Boyang... or Javi...

 Of course not, I meant all 3 events in a row. I wish I was happy too but I am already in "worried" mode for WTT.

Well one of Yuzu, Shoma or Boyang will have to be at SC, they're the top 3 after all ^^ Javi is really unlikely though, Patrick will definitely be there, so Javi can't.

Me too, me too. I've been barely back for one week from WC and I'm internally ranting already about how far away the next event still is

Japanese fans are unusually loud in their displeasure about judging and JSF attitude towards Yuzuru.

Actually, this reminds me a bit of a question I've had but haven't actually asked before. Not being familiar with the history of Yuzu and JSF, being a very recent fan, can someone give me a rundown on what the issues with JSF are? Why do people believe JSF isn't behind Yuzu?

Really, the Japanese fans are? I didn't expect that at all... I mean, they are usually among the last to complain (I always trust the Russian and Chinese fans with that  )

Thank you so much for posting, your photos are amazing as always!
(One of the tuesday practice pictures (with Tracy & Brian) looks like you were caught  )

As for the GP assignments, I'm laughing a bit at the dates. If Yuzu doesn't do NHK, I think it will be SC and TdF. So:
Oct. 26-29 Canada
Nov. 16-19 France
Dec. 7-10 GPF in Japan

Does that remind you of anything?

Hint. The dates are exactly the same (except for some shift because different year and all). If it ain't broke, don't fix it ;)

LOL

As long as he won that SC silver again and not cause any disturbance in the force :p

I will be honest, I don't think anything in particular that's striking. Every TJ skater fans would have problems with JSF at one point. Dai fans, Yuzu fans, Machida fans, Mao fans, Akiko fans, Satoko fans even fans of junior skaters would have curse at JSF once in a while (I think most skaters fan would curse at their Fed at one point too). Mostly because they think JSF is less accommodating to their favorite skaters or handle stuff badly. I think some Yuzu fans have a distaste of how JSF handles stuff sometimes, like CoC incident etc. Recent event would be how they "force" their skaters to attend AWG. But this does not really apply to Yuzu, so...

Yep, exactly. My friends who live in Japan asked me what's going on in figure skating (they are not fans). And yes, it's usually Russian and Chinese fans who are way too loud about everything.

Yuzuru and JSF always had " love-hate" relationship, because Yuzuru is not from Nagoya or Osaka he doesn't have big lobby there because in Japan's skating map Sendai is literally nothing.(funny tho, both OGM are from there) Some people like Seiko Hashimoto are not super pleased Yuzu being N1 , but JSF needs Yuzu and they can do nothing about it.Plus Yuzuru is pretty stubborn and he is usually not easy to handle to be used as JSF money bringing machine like Dai and Mao who agreed on each cms and shows JSF wanted them to participate. His manager Shirota san has her supporters and enemies there, overall it is a huge mess just like in every fed. Overall they all have their supporters and their opponents
