Last year he did no show. So certainly his earnings is much less.I think we won't know until there are media "reports" or people actually seeing his tax return. But as a comparison, if I am not wrong , on 2012 he (and Takahashi) received $200k a year from JOC for permission of using his image for promotional material. That was 5 years ago and he was relatively a nobody back then; additionally, JOC is not really a "commercial" company. After Sochi, his public recognition and sentiment is through the roof (he was third in Nikkei yearly power ranking, ridiculous!). The endorsement fee that he received would have had doubled (or even tripled and quadrupled) from there, especially since it is from pretty big commercial companies. He is after all the most popular athlete in Japan alongside Kei Nishikori, Ichiro, Shohei Otani, Uchimura etc. Even with JSF/ANA/Agency/whatever taking half the cut, I would expect him to make no less than seven figures yearly.
And this year I hope he will not do many shows. He has Olympic to worry about.
Their neglection will be too obvious. Sure I will be happy if Yuzuru does CoR but more than that I want what's the best for him. I rewatched SP&LP and wanna get my hands on judges again. :dev2:
would you look at that little pooh girl ... such intensity!!! Don't miss the PPoS!!!!
