you know, if what Max said is true that Yuzu usualy throw 4lz in the end of run through at TCC , just imagine if Yuzu had extra energy and doing that at Worlds, the Arena may explode and the Yuzu ending pose would looked more badass

What a way to forced the judges throwing high marks :p

I kind of want to see that now at 4CC.

But we are likely to see the 4A before the 4F
:palmf: he's like a toddler who's better at tap-dancing than walking

But since he said he could feel the fan's support at Worlds, and that helped him get out of his depression, cheering really loud works too. -Not that powerless after all. :ghug:
They can mess with the scores, they can mess with our banners, but they can't stop us from screaming our heads off :yahoo:

Since Machida retired, I feel that Yuzu's bows have been getting more and more dramatic. There's probably no conscious connection, but Yuzu's recent bows have reminded me of him.

Yes, I noticed this, they are so beautiful lately, even at open practice. Surely he gives them a lot of importance as they show his gratitude to the fans.

My friend accidentally heard of an ISU judge talking to an ice-mom, the talk was technically that, PCS (and even GOE) is subjective and it shows how high you place in the judges' views.

Sad but frankly, judges did not write Javi off even he messed quite the whole season, but they already wrote Yuzuru (and Patrick too) quite a bit at WC.

It was clearly looking at the GOE and PCS to see whom the judges believe to be their top (or who they or their bosses want to put on top).

Judges do not give scores based on true quality. This is the truth. They scores based on reputation and of whom they believe and want to be on top.

This time, at WC it was NOT Yuzuru whom they want. Simple as that. But he forced them otherwise. The more they do not want him, the more they HAVE to give it to him. And frankly he has had enough reputation now, they can score him quite low and score other higher, but they will not hold him down to the 2nd tier level. He is still considered 1st tier.

We shall see how they will react next season. ;)

GOE is subjective though.

Things like height, distance, flow, effortlessness, "creative"/"difficult" entrance/exit, good extension etc are judged qualitatively, not quantitatively. Say, skater A jump a 4T, 60 cm height, 3 m distance while skater B jump 4T with 45 cm height, 2 m distance; even with the naked eye we both can see that skater A has better height+distance yet they both can check the height+distance bullet point.

I think the actual GOE marks given should be analyzed judge per judge not as a whole, because for example, 3 judges disliking you and biased to other (while 6 judges judging correctly/fairly) would already drag your score down and prepped up others.

example : say Yuzuru's 3A (or quad or whatever) might get : 3 3 3 3 3 3 1 1 1 while others with less quality get : 2 2 2 2 2 2 3 3 3

Yuzuru final GOE : 2.43
Skater X final GOE : 2.29

The jump looks like they have similar quality if you look only at the final GOE, yet they aren't, and it is only because 33% of the judge (or 3 judges) marked it in a "huh???" way.

I am actually fine at judges who give Yuzuru low GOE (because maybe the judges really really have high standard, and it s fine),BUT only IF they gave others with obviously less quality lower GOE. Biased judging should be analyzed individually for each judges, not the final GOE mark that was given to the skater, imo. I always look at how each judge from each country score Yuzuru compared to other skaters, rather than simply looking at the final GOE mark he got.

I stand corrected on the leather pants issue. He was plenty old enough here and here. I am allowed to admire the pants now.

Hey guys, I am still trying to catch up on the pages of this thread, but I was wondering if you guys know if Yuzu still wears the same necklace he did last year? Is the ball still blue in colour? Also I was wondering if you guys know what the diamond shaped necklace on is called? I can only find one on the internet as I don't know the name but it costs a fortune, so I was wondering if you know what it was called so I can try and find one that is cheaper. Thanks

Looks so Btw, what's with the color?

Yes he still wears the 3 necklaces. Not sure what you guys mean by "the ball still blue in colour" or "what's with the colour" though.
These are the 3 necklaces: Phiten's Rakuwa X100 Chopper Model, Phiten's Rakuwa X100 Mirror Ball (if I rmb correctly the blue is specially designed with/for him, and Rakuten's Infinity Stone.

I assume the one that you found online that cost a fortune was this one?
