Yuzuru Hanyu: 2016-17 Season

I'm half through translating a Korean commentary of GPF 2015 Seimei. I started it more for studying purposes but I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in it anyway? It will be a very rough and probably inaccurate translation. I would not list it in the spreadsheet but I could post it here anyway granted I still have enough energy to finish it tomorrow... granted there is any interest...

Hello, it's good idea to translate more Czech commentaries, I plan to do some of them later when I have more time.

Here I created a list of all Czech videos I've found (and havn't been translated yet). I didn't put them into Gladi's trans-requests-sheet yet, beacuse they havn't been uploaded on YT/DM/etc yet.

So, if you (or anybody) want to translate any of them, could you, please, just mark it in my list so we don't work on the same thing concurrently?
Also, if you find other competitions, feel free to add them there, especially OWG, I'm shocked that I can't find it and I'm sure it exists because I remember watching it back then (and falling in love with Yuzuru)

Also, it seems like there are Slovak commentaries (on RTVS2) as well, so if anybody can find those I/we can translate them as well

I acually do not really care which ones I will translate - I just did he one yesterday on a whim xD

I'll try to look around for the rest as well^^

Some people here have (unfortunately) listened to it, but we have unanimously decided that who the f is even TSL and who the f cares what they think :yes: my cat also has an opinion, but she's more credible.

After the intense World craze, I went temporarily insane and bought Day 1 World Team Trophy ticket in Tokyo Japan just to see Yuzuru's SP skate live.

I'm selling my Team Trophy SP Day 1 ticket. I was delirious from travelling and looking on my cell in the train and misread the cost. It's insane. Like my mind deleted a digit insane. I can't afford it.

If anyone's interested, it's Arena SS ticket (meaning unobstructed rink side seating). I physically live 1 hour away from Tokyo so I will hand deliver the ticket to avoid the whole shipping fiasco. PM me if you're interested, but I'll let you know straight up it's pricey.

A longer answer would be that I wouldn't give any credibility TSL since, despite their name which is complitely unfitting at this point, they don't work in the field and also don't give quality FS analysis even as a fan. They seem to work at the moment as any FS blog but with a fair amount of gossip on the side. Basically their opinions could come out of some poster from this forum any day. Having a camera filming it doesn't make it anymore credible if the content isn't.
And that's not even related to what they say about Yuzuru or not, since until now their comments about him seem to be quite innocuous compared to what they've said of other skaters. It's just the usual terrible costumes, boring programs, overscored, he needs to point his toes !1! and what not, I can live with that. However, they've also said some factually incorrect statements like "Yuzuru has no transitions" (regarding his FS). I used to tolerate them because of their interviews but I've lost interest also in them, since there's articles that can do the job with less drama involved. I'm glad for her that Jenny jumped ship because ever since she left (or even before actually), TSL has been hitting rock bottom.

Yeah, 'ignore the TSL' should be included in the rule books of this fan fest - and everyone should be forced to study it before they join!
