She's not skipping the Team Event lol. It's her only chance at Olympic gold.

I don't think she has a chance at Olympic gold lol.

About Misha Ge, he posted this about his work with Karen:

I'm not closely following the developments happening outside of ladies right now. Who's the frontrunner right now for the Team Event? Canada? Or still Russia?
It'll depend on who's most consistent throughout the season I guess

If Ashley is #1 or #2 woman, she will choose to do the team event. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. She doesn't over-estimate herself.

^^^ Didn't you ask that question just a few pages ago? If not you, someone. I'm not even taking part in the conversation, but I remember it. Circles, circles ....
I've seen a couple videos posted re: stars on ice. I don't know if its just me, but it definitely looks like Gracie has put on some weight. Should this be a concern considering we're less than a year out from the Olympics or is this not a big deal considering we're in the off season?

Gracie's a big girl; I am not going to worry about it. We have our three spots for the Olympics.

Three face smacks for three spots... Don't know if that was on purpose. But if Gracie comes back guns blazing and can get one of those spots, good for her and good for U.S. figure skating!
Gracie slacked off training last season and it cost her. There will be no excuse for her not being ready and fit from day one next season because she has a lot to prove to not just herself but the judges so she better put in the work and get in shape and not do what she did last season.
