i just rewatched abit of the talk show, and i can't tell by his tone, because i dont speak any japanese, but by body language/facial expression, i can't tell if its sad, or nerves? He's probably just tired?

Do you guys think he was just undertrained and had a million things going on? His short reminds me of Yuna's short program at World's after Olympics (including being in 7th!) and we all know he had a million media obligations including that ceremony recently.

I doubt he is undertrained. I can imagine that he trained + had other commitments going on (which he doesn't have in Canada), so the two put together may have been an issue. He said he trained 2 hours a day, but it was on ice training and I am sure he also trained off ice.
We don't know about how many things he had going on, possibly quite a lot. But probably not as much as Yuna had right after winning OGM (+she had the flu, quite a serious one, two weeks before Worlds).

This is so true! I think he's even more loved because people share not only good moments but also hard sad moments with him. It's same with family members. They are family not only because you go through happiness with them but also through hardships and you can count on them any time.

Watching the warmup on youtube in the bg right now and ...yeah he looks WAY too tense?!? Needed to relax a little I thik. Yuzu is a wonderful rayof sunshine, but god knows he he could take a leaf out of Jason Brown's book on days like this. Poor little muffin! D:

Don't be sad guys It was just a sacrifice to skating gods so he can do well next season I hope Yuzu will take this as a learning experience. I wish for a few things:
1) Since Misha will work at TCC I hope he will take care of Yuzu. His relationship with Javi is getting more tense because of Oly, Nam isn't there... I really think Yuzu needs a friend in Toronto, especially one who isn't his rival. I mean other than Pooh...
2) Yuzu to let LGC go and leave it in the past. If he can't completely let it go, he can turn it into EX
3) Someone to persuade him to have combination as a first jumping pass in his SP. That could lessen a pressure a bit.
4) Brian says that they don't need a sport psychologist at TCC. But I think Yuzu's case is too much for him and Tracy. Please give it a try guys.

Because Shoma did not fail 2 big elements in his SP before 3A, Yuzu did. It is wrong but this is how judges minds work, they still can't get through 6.0 and adopt to cop, but cop is ruined anyways... they should do something with this system after 2018 or it is collapsed.
edit: to be fair Shoma's axel hit bullets, So did Yuzu's if not better but.. what I said above,,,, just that...........
