sorry of topic

among the top 6, only Shoma and Boyang who never topped Yuzu on podium yet, pretty sure this two will get the most momentum prior to PyongChang, esp Boyang, this boy always off the radar all season and if the 'first World bronze medalist curse' is really a thing, maybe he will win the Olympic, spiderboy is ready to catch any medal if the big guys carelessly drop theirs, and it seem Yuzu aware about that, he never underestimate Boyang, and that's a good thing

let't break the 'curse' Yuzu, and win the Olympic again ! :cheer:

I know it's not going to happen, but I think it would be fun if Boyang trained at TCC. Yuzu gets to study his 4Lz as much as he wants, and Boyang gets to improve his skating skills (his spins already improved a lot). He seems friendly too, like he would fit in there. I don't know if he has enough time to become a complete skater before the Olympics, but I do see the potential is there eventually.

yeahh hard to imagine when the three of Olympic gold contender train in the same place, seriously tho this boy is seriously a big treat, but somehow he's nonexistent by many FS fans

I would love that too! :luv17: I think David Wilson would really enjoy choreographing for Boyang even though I do credit Lori for coming up with that Spiderman choreo. But I fear this is never going to happen  For some reason Chinese skaters never go to Brian, don't know the reason ...

I think Brian might have a lot to be going on with with two major contenders. I don't want him to die of exhaustion either. :)
I really ought to be going to bed... it's nearly 3 in the morning!

which curse?

1. he is a "first world bronze medalist" still
2. (training in) canada curse? already broke that ;)
3. first japanese man to become olympic champion? yes~
4. world champion curse? hmm, we'll see...

I say he is in a good position :) curses don't affect him!

What curses lmao, he's the first Japanese medalist, we can't apply patterns to him because patterns and curses don't apply to space kittens. It's galactic law :)

He's the first olympic champion, Dai was the first medalist (bronze in 2010).

But yeah, patterns smatterns. I'd be willing to bet everything I own that Yuzu would rather be World Champion going into Olympic season than the 4th place finisher at Worlds ;)

No I don't think so, Boyang can win in 2022 (in Beijing! :cool14:) right. Yuzu is still World bronze medalist at the first outing, so if he wins, the curse is still in place

Plus the curse isn't that all WBMs will win Olympics, otherwise Artur Gachinski will be Olympic Champion

yeahh I agree, Boyang can get Beijing, I want Yuzu to win in PyongChang, coz it'll mean alot for him
and my selfisness, I don't want Nathan win either, coz I want to see him skate a little longer

You've missed 2 world titles, 2 world silvers and 1 bronze. Not a bad hawl by the age of 22, on the whole. Especially given the fiercely competitive field...

How can I forgot those world's title :drama::palmf: he's truly awesome, he's already great at such young age. And he's still now.. Probably more gold for him in the future for sure.. :agree2:

BTW, I guess we quietly passed 4500 pages....

Or not so quietly.

I didn't realize... :reye: how many pages we spent to talk about his SP yesterday? and not to think after his fs today.. We should prepare some drinks.. More pages to come

EDIT: time schedule for Men FS today. Yuzu will skate last in the group 1. I think I will try to watch it live (if my connection wasn't died like last time SP :palmf:)

My sleep schedule is completely backwards now... I don't think I will watch live tonight. My dog has so much energy today and I'm like :dbana:

Thanks I will go tweet

I'm actually quite glad that he saved his bombing for WTT...Worlds was excellent, as others said. Just one mistake in the whole competition. WTT, it's his pride that gets hurt, but that kind of hurt might be good for him going into the next season. He can refocus, knowing that his rivals are very strong and plan his new layout and his new programs with this in mind. -Confidence that he won worlds, caution that it won't be easy to win again. -At least I hope this is what he will have in his mind.

I'll probably just sleep, since it'll be the dead of the night for me anyway. Unless Yuzu surprises me and I'm curious about the results but honestly I don't care all that much about the final results.
