I don't get it... what's so wrong with his spins that he always barely gets around 1 GOE? Or are spins generally scored lower? Also, that last spin of Shoma was so obviously out for a walk... understandable, as he must have been tired, but he got slightly more than Yuzu for it... and I don't remember Yuzu's being quite like that.

I was at work so I could only watch Yuzu during the break and had to stop right after him, so I was like "oh well, no top 3 for Yuzu this time, feels weird" and later I checked the results chart and saw Japan 12 and 11 points so I just thought "so Yuzu managed to pull off second, huh, I wonder what happened to Boyang and Nathan" and then I looked at protocols and... seriously, Yuzu won the free? With a popped quad and 3A? Really, anything can happen in this sport.
