I don't think I've ever heard him sound like that! Sounds like he's thanking Shoma for the short and then apologizing for the short. Did Yuzu say "moushiwake arimasen"? Isn't that a little more serious than just sumimasen? Because if so, dude it's not that serious :drama:
Well, the way he said it was, let's call it "slightly theatrical" personally I wouldn't read too much into the wording (it's not like the others didn't also laugh about it, so I don't think this was meant to be dead serious)

I adore your avatar :luv17:
I for one, hope that we don't see LGC again unless it's as an Ex!
I am smiling, i am happy, and i love my pink bow Yuzu <3

I saw a comment made by Yuzuru saying he couldn't sleep after the short program. Was so pissed and decided he might as well do another quad.

So does anyone know if that emergency Quad Toe loop triple salcow was planned from the start or a reaction to the popped sal?

I didn't mentioned it I don't think but during the 6 minute warm up he did a Quad Toe followed by loop while marking for a third jump.

From this interview, I figure he probably planned 4Lo 4S 3F // 4S3T 4T 3A-2T 4T-1lo-3S 3Lz from the beginning. But since he popped the first 4S he tried to repeat his 3A at the end instead of the 3Lz.

I think this is going to be his olympic season layout

I can't wipe the smile off of my face :luv17:
THIS. This is why we love him so much. How can you not feel inspired and amazed after he does things like that? That even if the scores were combined and we had a podium he would still be on it, after being in 7th place.
A true warrior, a champion, imagine what we all could do if we had an ounce of his intensity and determination...
I feel so blessed and grateful that i am alive at the same time as him, to watch him execute all those incredible feats. You bet my kids will know about him.
I thought i would feel depressed after the last Hope&Legacy, because of the looming shadow of the off season.
But if i'm being honest, i hope we don't see much of him during it. I want him to rest, to be just Yuzuru of the Hanyu family for a bit. I am going to miss him, yes. But i want him healthy and happy over any selfish desires i might have :luv17:

Er, can someone enlighten me, why he skipped the Biellmann?

And i don't think i've ever seen someone who looked so good with a hachimaki

Without two 3As? Seems sort of weird for him to make a season long layout like that; I expect this was just his frustration making him want to go for 5-quads but I don't think it'll be something for next season. It doesn't improve his BV all that much. And his 3A combos have had better GOE than his 4T combo attempts.

Just got back from intern and about to start catching up with the thread. One quick thought about how things turned out today:

People have been saying that if everyone goes clean, Yuzu is unbeatable, but we've not been lucky enough to see that yet. However, what we just witnessed proves that when everyone bombs (more or less), Yuzu is still unbeatable:laugh:

Yes, I would cry salty years if he doesn't have two 3As. Like, I actually relax after the 4T because I know the 3As are coming!!!
