That is why I decided to seriously study Japanese. Until now I was happy with level and the (veeeery slow) progress I was making. But now I don't want to rely on translations or his English. I want to understand what he says by myself.
The way he talks made me fall in love with the language again, and that's a very strong statement since I already had a 16 year long relationship with Japanese.

He is really making me want to learn Japanese, too! What I wouldn't give to understand all the nuances in his speech. So I've been (slowly) relearning hiragana and katakana but kanjis are really scaring me. I have basic understanding of Japanese (and some words sound very similiar to Korean words- which is why I understood Kanako's r* announcement earlier) so I know I can do it. Just kanjis are intmidating me.

I was scared of kanji too when I started learning Japanese, don't be afraid; use mnemonics and games and they will come to you in no time

I wish Yuzuru's existence would cause a singularity so powerful due to the divide by zero effect of his absolute perfection that he sucks all of us into him and we would all be part of him forever.
I want to join!

I don't know what to focus on anymore.

That second knee slide was life. That kiss. Head banging. He counted down for himself. Crazy hair. He looked so so happy.

His happy smile is everything!
I am also glad that he refused to jump any quads. It goes to show that he is being more responsible with his toys. And honestly you could barely notice the absence of them.
There was no biellman in the Ex or or I am wrong? Can't rewatch right now.
My God this gala was a full blown Yuzu fanservice!!!!:hap85:

To the new fans who's starting to feel the IHYS, if we survived after Boston last year, you will also.
The best fanservice this season!

Yuzu did the LGC encore too before this competition, right? Where is it I can't remember >.<

Kanji is my favorite part of the language :) you can say so much depending on the knji you choose :)
I sometimes get the nuances of his speech, which is why is really difficult for me to attempt to translate him. A lot of the words and expressions I know exist only in Japanese in my head and I can't find an accurate equivalent in English or Spanish so I feel like I can't translate the language.

And wow, 4T-3T-2L and 4T-3T-3L :jaw: I've never seen anyone land those. No wonder Yuzu is a big Plushenko fan.

I was lucky enough to be at the GPF in 2001in Canada where both Yagudin and Plushenko were competing. Practice was amazing. I saw both men do the 4t-3t-3loop right in front of me. It was amazing. Plush had done it in competition, but that practice showed Yags could do it perfectly. Now THAT was a rivalry and that was an awesome competition.

Sorry for off topic!! But, had to share...

Mnemonics? I googled but that didn't really help.

I get sad when I think about how much of his genius I am missing out on...
I had a phase where I learned Hanji (the Korean equivalent) and I actually enjoyed it, too. But I ended up forgetting everything.

Mnemonics are like images that wil help you recollect the look and meaning of the kanji or kana, like ie. 一 (ichi) looking like lying nr 1 or kana for 'he' sound へ being Mt. St. Helens
I hope this makes sense

Yes it does, I understand it now. Thank you. :)

I'm tying to learn hanja now hahaha I'm being ambitious and learning korean for everyday life (I'm...intermediate but bad at speaking), I was interested in Chinese (I can write/read very basic sentences) but idk if it'll be useful for me anymore and now I want to know at least some Japanese (level 0 total beginner lmao) for Yuzu hahaha  but sometimes i'll see a character and either remember the meaning but not to pronunciation, remember the korean only or the chinese only  luckily there is some overlap haha but I'm really bad with vocabulary in general...I'll store all the grammar but forget words  So maybe if I study hanja more I'll remember more vocabulary
