I think his ultimate goal is the 2022 Games, when he will be 22yrs. old. It is good to have a long time goal, pace himself and not to rush on things. There is a chance that the direction of the sport might change to tame the craze for quads after the 2018 (maybe just my wishful thinking but one can only hope!), so it is also good to take a stance to observe the general tide for the time being.
Exactly! I am so impressed with his clear, paced, goals. If he keeps improving competition by competition, he'll do well in Pyeongchang, but he'll be amazing by 2022! He can't go from 0 quads to 4-5 in a year, and he shouldn't try, but 2 seems reasonable, and puts him at the level of the top Russian or Canadian men, with higher PCS potential than anyone than Chan, Uno, Hanyu, Fernandez or Brown. I could see him breaking into the top 6, especially if others make mistakes (likely with so many quads)! There's no reason he can't have the whole package, jumps AND artistry, and he and Steph seem to have a good plan to get there.
Also, it sounds like he hasn't picked music yet. I'm dying of curiosity!

I got the idea from Misha's Japanese fanclub. Do join in everyone!
So exciting, thank you so much for organizing this!
Maybe Stephane is doing a workshop there or something?
