You mean posts or pages!?

I assume posts... we'd only need 30k more posts for that!

Yeah I mean posts ❤️ Trust me if every yuzu fan can write in English, the goal could have been accomplished a long time ago

Pretty sure not posted yet, but this is so cute. I feel like Shoma feels embarrassed on Yuzuru's behalf

OMG :laugh2: Thank you, it has lightened my mood after catching up on this thread.

People, please, don't leave. Because this is exactly what haters want, to reduce our numbers. This is the biggest fan fest, let's keep it growing :ghug:.

Oh dear, I opened to read the thread first thing in the morning, and was surprised to hear about the not-so-nice things going on with all the haters and trolls.

Just wanted to say, I really like being in this thread, so I'd be so sad if we had to stop all the great and fun times we're having here because of them. Haters gonna hate, trolls will be trolls,... so I'll just ignore them and continue enjoying all the wonderful things that come with being the fan of a most wonderful person :agree: Too bad for them for missing out ;)

I guess I have gotten into the habit of spending most of my time in the Fan Fests because they have a positive tone (90% of the time Yuzuru's, but I like other skaters too). Competition threads while they are happening are a fun way to connect with other fans who are watching. After the competition ends, they get more unpleasant. The Edge I mostly avoid, but sometimes there are neutral topics.

Our (can I say our, sorry I didn't directly contribute) video was never going to be one of those neutral topics. But I won't hold my breath for anyone to spend the time required to produce such a video for the other skaters. It's not going to happen. Our mission is accomplished: new fans learn, journalists spread the word, the misinformation that H&L was simplified gets debunked.

This thread is active enough it could be a whole forum unto itself. So if it works better for you, treat it that way and pretend the rest of GS doesn't exist. It can be tiresome, but I think there are only a few bad apples. You know who is a really obvious one.

it sad, when you can't use Yuzu ava without being judged to no end

but hater gonna hate though, so yeahh..everything will be okey if we ignore them

There are a little over 212k posts in Fan Fests. Over 70k of them is in this thread. :laugh2:
That's one third. And I'm not counting media only. :)

I love seeing his stupidly pretty face all over the place :p

I love this thread and I'm going to stay. So far, what I see is people who posting here are lovely, kind and respectful. For me, it's always better to ignore haters. :)

you only join late 2016, and your post count tho

teach me your way senpai

I only post on fanfest, here, Jun hwan's and maybe for the next is Mai's
Invisible mode+my collection of pics and my gift to find a pic relevant to almost any situation made my post count go up like Yuzu's tech score at world's

My FSU account dates back to 2002 and I think I have more posts here  (though I did have a GS account once upon a time when they had other forums). Though they do have the occasional funny thread (I'm contributing to one where we have figure skater book titles), I tend to use GS fanfests as my one stop shop. Granted, when Sasha Cohen was actively competing we had a whole forum for her so the majority of my energy was spent there. And I was an admin, so I know the game.

Totally agree, I know other people use the rest of this site a lot but I'm mostly only here for this thread, I can quite easily pretend the rest don't exist  Plus I want to post enough to earn an avatar haha
Yeah like how some are now trying to pretend Yuzu's world records don't exit. :laugh2:

Yeah...I'm not going to validate anti's/troll with my time and attention. I have much more important things to worry about...like hoping Yuzu gets a good haircut. Priorities, people. ;)

Seriously though, their opinions are worthless. Quite literally. Its not as if them hating will cause us to love Yuzu any less, nor will it decrease the number Yuzu fans in of stadium seats. What matters is we continue to show our love and support to the skater himself. :ghug:

Honestly, all it shows me is that they stay bothered by Yuzu's impact and accomplishments. So much so that they have to pretend they don't exist. So I stick to my motto of haters gonna hate, Yuzu's gonna skate. And continue to get more love than their skater gets which is why they're salty.

BTW...

I hope I don't get banned for saying this, but it never crossed my mind that someone wrote the articles for GoldenSkate. I always had the impression they were autogenerated. Like, "So and so scored X. So and so landed [top 2 hardest jumps], but fell on [jumps they fell on]. So and so said Y. So and so's coach said Z." Rinse and repeat.
