I absolutely LOVE Alizée!!!!

In fact, I am a member of 15 Alizée groups on Facebook! (Although, if I'm totally honest, I don't really visit groups any more... :slink: )

"Mademoiselle Juliette" was the first song I heard, and I loved it so much that I immediately bought the album it was on, "Psychédélices".

And since then I also bought one of her earlier albums, "Mes Courants Électriques" (the one "J'en ai marre!" is on), as well as a live DVD, "Alizée En Concert".

I wouldn't mind buying some of her other albums, but I keep forgetting to look online for them. Unfortunately, the shop that I bought all my Alizée stuff in before has closed down now (I absolutely loved that shop! :cry: ), and the other shop that I know keeps foreign CD's is a dear auld hole!

"Mademoiselle Juliette" is still my favourite song, but "J'en ai marre!" and "J'ai pas vingt ans" are not far behind it.

I just love her music! :agree:

And it helps that she is absolutely gorgeous! :love: :love: :love:

(Maybe now you all understand why I liked Nathalie Péchalat so much... :p )

Billy Joel - Uptown Girl (1983)

I've been so addicted to the song and video in a couple of days. :)

For me, Westlife's music video of their cover is the first visualization of the song that I encountered on TV. I was fascinated by the German supermodel, Claudia Schiffer's deviation at that time.

However, when I first watched the original version by Billy Joel on YouTube two years ago, I was enchanted by not only young Bill Joel whose typical image to me was an old bald man always playing piano acted as a dancing mechanic in the video, but also young and dazzlingly beautiful Christie Brinkley. Besides, I'm also intrigued by another mechanic whose name I want to know because he looks so familiar and I've felt I saw him in an old film like Grease judging by his slicked back hair and his dancing abilities (actually didn't see the film yet ;)) or other musical films. His facial expressions are so funny and he seems to be a trained musical actor or dancer.

I'm not sure if it's the same guy you are talking about, but the guy at the front in the final clip you linked to reminds me a lot of Henry Winkler, best known for playing The Fonz in "Happy Days".

But, it clearly isn't him. Put it like this - he's so well known that we'd have heard about it years ago if it had been!

Definitely not Henry Winkler because the mysterious guy has a bad boy vibe while Winker isn't. :biggrin: Because of the hair style, I was rather reminded of John Travolta, so consequently Grease too. I'm gonna see the old musical film, so if he stars in it. :)
