This clip describes how we were searching for the news of Yuzuru around FaOI Makuhari :laugh2:

Man: Please come here!
(everyone comes)
Man: It's him, isn't it?
Woman: Stop. Enlarge and sharpen the image.
Man: This is only we can do because the camera is general.
Man: I'm not sure if it's him...
Woman: But...he looks like him, the clothes is also similar.

Hillarious! what show was this spliced/ edited from? It's a perfect fit. :laugh:

Thank you, Interspectator, giulia95 and yude for your warm welcome!

@Interspectator Yes, I was there when he skated Chopin clean. It was a sheer beauty. The whole show was great, too:luv17:
@giulia95 Oh, you are a lucky one:love: You saw the epoch making performances!?
@yude I had been a lurker longer! Good to have a place to share our love toward Hanyu-senshu again:)

while you're watching live the adrenalin level skyrockets just like the heartbeat and you're perfectly conscious you're witnessing history in it's making, nothing compares to such violent emotions :yahoo:
that's why so many people are Yuzu addicted all around the world, it's not a matter of culture or country, Yuzu is a universal treasure :luv17:

Hi, everyone! And thank you very much for providing the news, translations, links and very interesting comments:luv17: I had been a long time lurker here. Finally I made myself come out to say hello:o: (Hey, yude!).

I went to Faoi last Sunday. It was a wonderful experience. Before Hanyu-senshu's performance, we were truly entertained by Plushenko's Sex Bomb and then I felt the audience suddenly got very serious. Someone yelled out "Go, Yuzu!" when he was circling around right before the music started. When he put his arms down to wait for the music, we became dead silent. It felt like a real competition. And during his performance, my heart beat very fast right before each jump. I have never got that nervous at an ice show performance before, hehe. Oh, how deafening our roars got when he finished! It was unbelievable.

Lucky you, I'm green with envy:drama:

Scans of Yuzu's special interview in Ice Jewels vol. 6.

Not sure if the Tumblr image compression is good enough to make out the text, but if you want the original full size scans to read it, just let me know.

Thank you kiches for the article. When the interviewer asked about the quads jumps this season (2016-2017), he emphasized the value of his 4 toe loop (the fact that he could use the jump as a back up, since it is now a very stable jump for him.). What attracted my attention was his answer to the question "Will you put 4 lutz in a program next season?" Not the answer itself, but the length of it. As yude kindly previewed for us before, he said "4 lutz, I am not really thinking (of putting it in a program)". Just that one sentence. I surely expected him to give more of his thoughts on that, but no. I think he was like that when he was asked the same question on TV (April 23rd Sunday Station?). That made me curious:cool14:

I am afraid nuances are lost in my translation, but here is some part of it;

The first three in green ink;

1 Hanyu, trying to sell the towels in the group photo of Faoi
2 And, he shows his playfulness in the photo after that (this is not a literal translation.)
3 Hanyu, watching Plushy’s Se’bom (Sex Bomb) during a rehearsal
The author’s voice: You don’t have to respect (and copy) that part/program, but I wouldn’t say I don’t want to see it (if you insist) (me speaking in a small voice).

The ones below in blue ink:

1 Showing his new SP next season; Ballade 1 third time after two seasons
2 Pumping his fist after skating clean on the last day, that was an ice show, not a competition
(cute)
3 Before the encore, Hanyu, provoking the audience through the black curtain. (You, bastard! (I’m giving him a praise.))

The last pic in purple ink;

Hanyu, throwing a kiss
His face is saying “I killed about 10 people (with this). Terrific!

That is curious, maybe he doesn't want to reveal his cards too soon or he really doesn't have serious plan to include it (assuming if the training of it isn't going as he'd like).

I was actually surprised that he announced he was repeating Chopin again, I expected news of it to come out a bit later. It'll be interesting if he keeps the jump layout the same as he's shown in Makuhari so far or if he plans to experiment a bit with it in the coming shows.

He is a great sales rep, he makes me want to purchase every P&G product...

The way he holds the product close to his face so we get an instant association with his very cute face and any product does make a person want to go out and buy it immediately.
:biggrin:
